Reason for choice:

He was totally unexpected, almost an impulse buy. I kept staring at the company pictures of him, entranced by his tough yet vulnerable appearance and the way he was styled as an assassin, and before I knew it I'd already come up with a character for him--so I knew I had to bring him home.

Best Points:

His skin tone is a gorgeous rich brown that has remained amazingly stable after all these years. I love the lithe, yet defined sculpting of his body. The little blush on his faceup is adorable.

Worst Points:

He's a little floppy, even after restringing. The eyebrows of his faceup aren't symmetrical.

Thorn is a demon assassin who's worked as a familiar for a succession of wizards. Cynical and jaded, all he can hope for is to keep his head down and do whatever job is demanded of him. When a strange new wizard called Elroy wants to form a contract with him, Thorn doesn't expect things to be any different. But to his surprise, Elroy says he isn't interested in having Thorn serve him; rather, he wants to serve Thorn, to make him the strongest demon in the world!

With that, Thorn's new life begins. While he tries to act cool and aloof, he often finds himself flustered by Elroy and is hiding some severe confidence issues. Believing that strength is everything, he fears being useless and vulnerable. It's not easy for him to trust, but over time his relationship with Elroy deepens into the first genuine connection of his life. Even so, he's not quite ready to reveal his greatest secret: his love for cute, small animals.
