Thorn

Maker:
Doll Family-H
Head Sculpt:
Anye
Skintone:
Imported tan
Body:
DF-H 65cm boy body (2-part torso)
Sex:
Male
  • Face-up artist(s):
    Doll Family-H
    Date of acquisition:
    November 13 2017
    Provenance:
    Bought through jeeryama
    Reason for choice:
    He was totally unexpected, almost an impulse buy. I kept staring at the company pictures of him, entranced by his tough yet vulnerable appearance and the way he was styled as an assassin, and before I knew it I'd already come up with a character for him--so I knew I had to bring him home.
    Best Points:
    He is sculpted elegantly and with so much detail--his body, his fingers, his toes, and of course his face. His skin tone is also gorgeous, a rich deep brown.
    Worst Points:
    He's strung a little loosely (but still stands and poses ok), and has somewhat weirdly shaped eye wells.

    Black
    Fashion style(s):
    Black, tight-fitting, revealing
    Key fashion accessory:
    His black katana
  • Name story:
    I wanted a name that sounded dangerous, but also had a bit of cuteness to it.
    Character age:
    19
    Character gender:
    Male
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Thorn is a vampire who serves in an assassin's guild called Black Blade. He was taken in by the guild as a child and has no memory of his previous life. For him, all that exists is his absolute devotion to Black Blade. Years of harsh training have broken down his sense of self, leaving him cold and emotionless--the perfect weapon. Though he is one of Black Blade's best assassins, deep inside he feels some discontentment with his current life, but he doesn't truly begin to question himself until he has an unfortunate run-in with a clumsy wizard....

    Thorn prefers to keep to himself and has little patience for fools, but he can be startlingly naive about things that don't involve killing and fighting, and he's quite easily flustered. Nothing flusters him more than that damn wizard, of course.
