If Kenji and Tian seem a little familiar, it's because they're an "alternate reality" take on my first pair of doll characters... Harumatsu and Tien Jen, the Shiwoo twins.

These two are the result of my wondering what the twins would have been like if I'd originally imagined them as Modern characters rather than residents of an ancient wuxia-inspired fantasy world.

Tian Gabriel Valiant is one of a pair of Asian-American twins; members of the Montanari brothers' circle of modern magi. Tian is a master diviner and fortune teller, often able to see the future... in spite of being unable to see anything else.

Tian is very rarely alone. He's almost always in the company of either his brother Kenji, or their younger sister Miyami.
