    None
He's a Chrom Bane of Wood human head, made in 2009. I am his third or fourth owner. There’s some damage to the back of his head, which he arrived with (I was aware at time of purchase). It’s hidden by his wig.

He’s on a April Story Senior Boy body. The resin match is imperfect, but workable. The body needs neck modifications for the Soom head to sit properly & have full range of motion.

  • Name story:
Hijikata Toshizō was the vice-captain of the Shinsengumi police during the bakumatsu period of Japanese history. While he is a popular figure in Japanese media (showing up in many anime), Toshi is named after the historical figure specifically, whom I find very interesting and have always wanted to honour in doll form. Since Chrom is my grail doll and such a beloved sculpt, I figured he would be a great choice. Toshizo doesn't have a surname.
    Character age:
    36
    Character gender:
    Cismale
    Offsite roleplay:
This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
Toshizo is a kami, the spirit of a waterfall in the Zeniarai Benten shrine in Kamakura. At one point blood was spilled into his waters, and he was able to take on the form of a human. He left his shrine and wandered the countryside, eventually becoming a ronin. He is a serious man, with a heart of gold - especially good with children, he will often stop in villages to play with them and will lecture bullies if he catches them picking on other kids.

After centuries of wandering, he now lives in Tokyo and works at a traditional café as a waiter. Very different from his life as a samurai, but he's content.
