1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Sex:
Female
  • Face-up artist(s):
    Volks
    Date of acquisition:
    April 2017
    Provenance:
    She was given to me by my BFF as a birthday present, I couldn't believe it!!
    Reason for choice:
    When I first discovered dollfie dreams, Lucy was one of my biggest grails. I loved her enigmatic, wistful expression and sad eyes.
    Best Points:
    Semiwhite skin is a nice balance between tones, and her sculpt is soft & beautiful.
    Worst Points:
    Besides typical dollfie dream issues, Lucy sculpts mouth tends to disappear in less than perfect lighting since it is so small and delicate.
  • Eyes:
    Trixie Trixie, pearl, type seafoam green color
    Wig:
    Leekeworld, misty blue color
    Favourite colours:
    Seafoam green, mints, whites, pastel yellow. Pale oceany colors!
    Fashion style(s):
    Depends on the setting! She wears lots of ornate, sheer clothing in pale colors like the water goddess she is, but I have a feeling she would look adorable in a pastel/pastel goth style too.
    Key fashion accessory:
    Her aquamarine scepter! Also anything with seashells.
    Wistful, like her personality! Sheer, drapey fabrics, pale colors, ocean themed. She looks cute in sailor dresses too.
  • Name story:
    The name just sort of stuck. I kept hearing it everywhere, but referring to ugly things, but when I hear the name, it sounds wistful and mystical to me. It kind of eludes to the sound of the word "Umi" or "ocean" in Japanese. But Umi sounded too cute to me. I almost named her Ondine, but it sounded too harsh for her personality. So I kept it as her deity name and named her Uma.
    Character age:
    Since she is a spirit like Kohana, her actual age is unknown. She looks like she could be in her early 20s, late teens.
    Character gender:
    Female.
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Uma lives in the waters off a cold, misty ocean shore, hidden by rocky coves and often by thick fog. Built into the cliffs is a small, illusive village of fishers, healers and mystics who revere Uma as their patron deity. They call her "Ondine" as well as "the Maid of the Mists". She watches out for the village, steering schools of fish in the direction of their fishing boats, saving sailors & fisherman that fall overboard, and keeping the village hidden and safe by controlling the local tides & mists. Since she is often mistaken for a siren, she tends to be shy and wary of anyone outside the village. She stays close to the shores but will sometimes venture further out to sea. She can freely change her form to suit land or sea, donning a long, mermaid-like tail in water and human legs on land. She is quiet, pensive and melancholy, but fiercely protective of the village & its inhabitants. They tell a legend of a time when pirates and raiders attempted to ransack the village, shooting dolphins & gulls for fun, and it enraged Uma so greatly that she called forth a typhoon to drown all the invaders ships, leaving no one alive. No one is sure if the story is true though.
