Valeriana Xiaolian Carlyle

Head Sculpt:
DollZone Dragon body
  • Face-up artist(s):
    Body blushing artist(s):
    Tattoo artist(s):
    Date of acquisition:
    February 23rd, 2014
    Bought directly as an in-stock doll from Indollgence.
    Reason for choice:
    She was a total impulse buy! The combination of being able to play with her before I bought her, and her being such a limited sculpt drew me in.
    Best Points:
    She's utterly adorable!
    Worst Points:
    Well her tail makes it impossible for her to sit...and her horns are really fragile, so I'm always a little worried they may break. She also has limited pose-ability, and her arms are still very snappy (though sueding has helped immensely).
    She was the first doll I ever learned to restring, and the first full doll I ever blushed. She's likely yellowed quite unevenly because of the way I blushed her, and my own stupidity as a new owner at the time...
  • Eyes:
    DollZone glass
    Favourite colours:
    Earthy greens and browns
    Fashion style(s):
    Practical - pockets and bags are important!
    Key fashion accessory:
    Her green velvet cloak!
  • Name story:
    Chose her first name on a day out in Botanic Gardens with a friend, it's a reference to a flower called Valerian. Her middle and last names were from a name generator.
    Character age:
    Roughly 50 or so
    Character gender:
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Story universe: A Clash of Worlds

    Valeriana Carlyle is the youngest daughter of a well know Other-world doctor and military general. She came to the human world following Desmond's ailing father to essentially be his private doctor-on-call, as well as look after a young Desmond who was experiencing the Human world for the first time and learning to fit in.

    She's a feisty, sassy, no-nonsense lady who cares deeply for her friends and "adopted" family members. She's incredibly intelligent despite her size (and age, she's still very young in dragon terms). She always encourages people to be their best toward each other and learn from all experiences and interactions. She's the "mum-friend" of the group, and is considered a sibling by Desmond.
