Reason for choice:

I fell in love with her in her fullset pretty much immediately. My boyfriend surprised me by offering to buy me a doll AT Doll North as an early Christmas present. I didn't even really know about Bluefairy, but their aesthetic is everything I love in a doll.

Best Points:

She's GORGEOUS! I'm in love with her, as is, and wouldn't change a thing. The single joints look so natural when I pose her. She looks like I always "imagined" my doll would.

Worst Points:

She takes awhile to pose. I'm considering sueding her joints.

Name story:

She's named after a Bull Mastiff I heard a funny story about at the hotel bar from two lovely British gentlemen. I wanted something "French sounding" since my first doll is named Amélie Leona. Since I'm not having children of my own, I decided to "whip out" some of the better baby names I'd thought of. Leona was my grandmother's name. It's of a French provenance that means "Like a Lion".

Now all female dolls get named after flowers. Boys get "family names"... the old and clunky ones.
