Reason for choice:

He was a well-priced doll (Meaning not too expensive for a high school student without a regular income) with a beautiful face sculpt and neutral expression.

Best Points:

His face is beautiful, and his eyes always make him look sleepy or deep in thought.

Worst Points:

His hands are a bit.. shovel-y, as someone put it, but I don't mind. If they really bother me (they don't now) then I can always find a pair that I love (and has the right skin tone) and switch them out.

Cozy sweaters are a favorite, and he has plenty. Casual and comfy are Wren's go-to looks, with simple but cool patterns and calm colors. He does have a few "statement" pieces that he saves for special occasions.

I'm always making him new things, as he's a bit small to fit the usual 1/4 scale clothes. Some of my projects have been a success (like his black and white striped leggings I made out of a sock) and some have been... not as successful. I'm always learning new things, and getting better as I go.

Name story:

I've always loved birds, and there was a bird house in the garden of my childhood home, and the same wren would always nest there. More recently, when I was struggling with mental health, waking up to the birds singing always helped. My mom suggested the name to me, and even before I knew what doll I wanted I knew that their name would be Wren.

Wren is a quiet, shy, and respectful person. He is an observer, and is guaranteed to have at least one sketchbook (and pencil) or his camera on him at all times. He loves warm sweaters and hot tea, especially when it gets cold. He hopes to capture some of life's more powerful messages in his photography and drawings. He's not great with words, but is always communicating, whether it be through his eyes, his pictures, or his drawings. As an old soul, he likes the more quiet and simple things in life. He might look a bit melancholy, but all Wren needs to be content and happy are a cozy sweater, some drawing supplies, and his teddy bear (he's a bit embarrassed of that, but I told him not to worry).
