Reason for choice:

Not gonna lie, the first time I saw him my heart skipped a beat! Reason was, he looked a lot like my OC, and I'd been searching for a sculpt that could really channel him. I had to get him no matter what.

Best Points:

The tan skin is so beautiful, and the Zen body poses so well.

Worst Points:

He ends up slouching a lot but that's actually a good thing because this character slouches a lot himself.

Recently I also discovered that the resin around his butt area is ridiculously thin and this had caused a huge chunk to chip off even though I’ve never been rough with my dolls. Also found out the resin in his knees has the same issue — it’s just too thin. Told Granado about it so hopefully they will do better on future sculpts!

Kazuo was born in Ikebukuro, Japan. He currently lives in an apartment with his friends, Takuma (IoS Confutatis) and Chad (Dollshe Saint).

This guy is loud and boisterous and his cheerful demeanour always seems to attract the wrong kind of attention and he often gets into trouble with people who are out to pick fights. Kaz has bad table manners and swears a lot, but he has a soft spot for animals and the elderly. His favourite food is okonomiyaki and his hobbies include doing graffiti and collecting CDs. Also, he smokes 24/7 LOL.

It is extremely easy to make friends with Kaz, although some people might not be too happy having to deal with his overwhelming personality. He can get pretty annoying sometimes when he's overly-excited. One good thing about him is his honest, no-BS attitude. He cherishes his friends and is not afraid to stand up for them. To strangers, he is seen as an uncivilised person on first impression due to his loud mouth and bad table manners.

Kaz has a carefree attitude and a go-with-the-flow outlook in life. When things go wrong, he moves on quickly, always having his favourite word, "shouganai" in mind, which in Japanese means, "It just can't be helped." Kaz often gets asked why he never has tattoos, seeing how he seems like someone who would have one, and his answer is simple -- He wants to continue enjoying his onsen (hot spring) experiences without any problems. He's just that pure. Haha.
