Provenance:

Bought on DOA MP from PacificBlue, who bought her on the DOA MP in 2014. I am at least the 3rd owner of this sweet little one.

Reason for choice:

Back when I first joined the hobby in 2011, I had a 2nd-hand Pukifee Zoe with Daisy Dayes hooves as one of my very first dolls. I loved her but ended up selling her due to life circumstances. I've gone through a ton of dolls since then, and she is truly the only one that I have consistently regretted selling and genuinely miss seeing around. I've had a lot of life changes recently, both wonderful and difficult, and it just made me really want to have that doll--or a version of her--back. A WTB post on the MP here, and a couple months' wait, and delightfully PacificBlue answered the call! <3

I love the Zoe sculpt's sweet, thoughtful expression. She often seems very hopeful, and the FL default face-up is actually one I really like for this sculpt.

Best Points:

Her precious little face and sweet pointy ears!

Worst Points:

Pukifee in general have hard-to-pose legs due to the magnets in their feet wanting to stick together. The bobble-headed-ness also means she can flop off in various directions without intending to!

HOOVES! While the original Zoe had large, strung DD hooves, Zoe 2.0 has the smaller magnetic FL Sheep Set Hooves. I hope to get them blushed/painted soon.

Name story:

Zoe is one of the first dolls where I felt her sculpt name did rather match her, and I've always called her that. Maybe it's because the Fae don't give out their names in public. ;) But, something about her not having her own name seems a little odd and unkind, so her nickname is Ducky.

Likes: Rainy weather, flowers (especially the ones that bloom in the rainy season), and pilfering leftover treats that people have forgotten to put away
Dislikes: Cheese, really hot weather, other brownies (they make fun of her clothes)
Personality: Ducky is a brownie, a little house fairy commonly associated with the Seelie Court. While most brownies help around the house with the understanding that they must never be seen or gifted with clothes, Ducky is an oddity. There aren't many female brownies around anyway, and so she has decided she likes clothes and company and doesn't so much like doing chores! She talks mostly in a series of chimes or chirps or snuffles, although every once in a while she'll squeak out a real word. Her primary goal in life seems to be looking over someone's shoulder while they are doing something interesting. If you're lucky, she'll help a little, but she gets distracted easily. When she's not paying attention, she likes to stare happily off into space and hum to herself.
