It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. Update 【VOLKS】Concerning False Trademark Applications for “圓句昭浩 / Akihiro Enku”

      We ask all of our VOLKS hobby customers and Dollfie® owners to please be cautious.

      We have been contacted multiple times informing us that “圓句昭浩 / Akihiro Enku,” the name of an employee at VOLKS Inc./Zoukei-Mura Inc. (to be referred to as “we,” “us,” “VOLKS Inc. Group”), has been registered as a trademark in China. We are now looking into the current state of the situation in China and proceeding with the steps for an invalidation trial.

      We are aware that the entity responsible for the application and trademark of 圆句昭浩 / Akihiro Enku is a company that has previously registered and used other people’s trademarks without permission in the past as well. Therefore, there is a possibility that they will use the 圆句昭浩 / Akihiro Enku trademark to sell counterfeit Dollfies and similar products.

      In addition, they have also trademarked and are using deceptively similar words to our brand terms (such as “SD”). There is a possibility that this will cause confusion between our legitimate products and the counterfeits.

      We will continue to take every measure possible, including invalidation trials, to stop acts like this of unfair competition.

      VOLKS Inc. was founded by the company president Hideyuki Shigeta in 1972. After starting out as a small plastic model shop, VOLKS grew into hobby company group designing, producing, and selling products. With approximately 300 individuals currently employed by VOLKS, the company strives to give back to society.

      Akihiro Enku joined VOLKS as a sculptor in 1987, and was involved in the start of ZOUKEI-MURA Inc. alongside Hideyuki Shigeta, with the intention to “give back to society though sculpting, to form a group of individuals who can create something out of nothing.” He was then the leader for the sculpting of the Orient Hero Series and Dollfie® series. He continues even now to be the master sculptor, putting his passion and love into his creations every day.

      Akihiro Enku has worked tirelessly by this company motto. It is absolutely unforgivable to assume the name of such a man, to make counterfeit imitations of the work he made so lovingly, and to deceive everyone who purchases those products believing that they are legitimate VOLKS Inc. Group brand items.

      VOLKS Inc. Group will continue to do everything in our power to prevent unfair and counterfeit practices.
