I was browsing through doll sites and I came across Magical Angel's Iris. She is a life sized bjd, standing at 180 cm (nearly 6 feet) tall! I was pretty surprised to see such a bjd existed. Iris's price was quite shocking too -- I was imagining she would be much more expensive than she is (considering some 1/3 can be just as pricey). I wonder what other 1/1 sized bjds there are? What is your opinion on 1/1 bjds; would you ever buy one? (Especially if it were in your favorite sculpt!) Personally I think it would be cool to use any sort of clothing for regular people, and wigs as well, but having such a large doll lying around the house is a bit too much for me...
1:1 sized dolls are off-topic...there are few others mentioned around here. If you do some searching, you may come across the threads...
Wow - that is a big doll! What do you string them with? Bungie cords? I imagine they are pretty easy to dress. I won't lie - before I got into bjds I thought about purchasing a mannequin and dressing it up like a doll. I thought it would be pretty fun but that is a lot of space to devote to a doll plus it would startle my family to have a full sized bjd in the house. I imagine my sister in law would cry if she saw one - she is scared of the small dolls I have.
