Leekeworld Feedback (ALL)

I did a GroupOrder with Leekeworld recently (August 2007) and they responded within 12 hours on all of my questions. ^^ It took approximately a month and a half for the reservation items to get home. They quickly combined orders due to a problem with the website. The wigs are a very nice quality. I had an overall great experience with them!

I've ordered twice from them, each time for a wig and eyelashes. There were never complications and both times they were sent in a timely manner. :3 The wigs are wonderful, very beautiful and good quality. One wig didn't look quite like their photos, it was a little wider in the front (if that makes any sense).

Not too bad. They responded pretty fast to a question about which size SD wig to get, though after the items already shipped (I guess I could've waited for a reply, but by then I'd made up my mind).

As I recall, it was very fast!

Quality seems fine.

How was the communication? I don't seem to remember too much, but because it was such a quick and straightforward transaction there wasn't too much of a need for many words. XD
How easy was it to pay? I remember it being very easy!
How long did it take to ship? I was shocked. I placed my order on a Thursday, and I got my things the following Wednesday. That was quick! I was expecting up to a month for my things to ship.
Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Definitely!
Did the item look like the sales pictures? Everything was VERY well represented in the pictures.
Were you satisfied with the product? Oh yes! I was really pleasantly surprised that my head and body came to me already assembled. That and the shipping time really made me happy with them.

* How was the communication? Acceptable.

* How easy was it to pay? Pretty easy. They send you an invoice and you pay to the address stated therein. if you're never ordered from Leeke before, though, you may be a little confused by the procedure.

* How long did it take to ship? Always longer than they said it would. Once, I expected a wait of 1 month but had to wait almost 2 before the items shipped. And that wasn't a group order, either!

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Quite.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures? Not always.
Sometimes the items pictured had been styled with water or product, and quite often they don't have pictures for all the sizes they sell (a Leekedoll-sized wig can look quite different proportionally from the SD version of the same style!)

* Were you satisfied with the product? Usually.
At least three pairs of Leekeworld shoes I've purchased, though advertised as MSD-sized, barely fit my MSDs. Otherwise, the workmanship is very good.
The wig quality is usually pretty good, though some require some effort in styling to resemble the sales pictures.

Yes! the item is really good quality when compare with price, I think it appropiate.

How was the communication?
Good - They answered my questions on their Q&A board within 24 hours, but I haven't recieved an answer when I tried to email them (I suspect that's my account's fault)

How easy was it to pay?
Very easy - they sent a paypal request.

How long did it take to ship?
They were very quick - my doll arrived 9 days after I ordered.

Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Absolutely.

Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes - as much as an unpainted doll can look like his painted counterpart.

Were you satisfied with the product?
Generally yes, but his left hand arrived broken, so I contacted them about that.

If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
They were quick to assure me that they would send a replacement part, which indeed arrived after a month. I didn't have to send back the broken one, and naturally they didn't charge me anything for the new hand.

* How long did it take to ship? The item stated it would take 30 days from day of payment but it took about 20 and then arrived in the UK in 3 days.
* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes. I'm planning on ordering 3 more of their heat-resisting wigs now that I'm sure of the quality and service they provide.

As much as I love the colours, styles and quality of Leeke, they always frustrate me with the problems we've had doing orders.

Admittedly, every single wig I've got from Leeke (except 1) came in a group order, but the service for these orders wasn't the best.

I think the record was 6-7 months to get an order in. By that time, some people had actually left the hobby. ^^; Sometimes they messed up the wig orders too, or were missing some wigs. Also, when I got the special new years suprise box thing, which was meant to be of SD sized stuff, I got an MSD sized wig. @_@

I think doing individual, off-the-site orders work a lot better. The wigs themselves are great, but yes... the service was a bit shoddy, at least for the orders I was in.

Yes, the wig is gorgeous - very good quality. I didn't expect it to look as good as it does! I was pleasantly surprised.

The eyes have lovely depth and reflection. The pupils and irises are the same size in both eyes. There's a tiny colour imperfection in one of the irises, but I'm not fazed by that since overall the eyes are nice quality. The eyes might be a bit on the expensive side though.

Mostly, yes. There's a slight colour difference.

Did the item look like the sales pictures? Most of the wigs I ordered looked the same as the promo pics but I ordered two wigs that were a bit fancy & complicated so they came out a bit messy.

Yes. Definitely yes. I am so impressed with the quality of this wig.

yup! no way i could get this stuff so cheap in england. and the wig is lovely.

well, i cant style wigs as beautifully as they do, but i was pretty suprised by how exact it looked to the picture. i usually find wigs are way off from the sites

also, i have currently placed an order with them for some things a few weeks ago. when i realised id forgotton to add 2 items the day after i paid for my order, they said they would add them in for me! leeke are very communicative and a pleasure to deal with, always positive and polite
