1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. * What did you order? First, Full operation Ryoma/Emotional boy body, then 70 Emotional male body with Ray head. Both whiteskin, with bodyblushing and default faceups (Type A for Ryoma, B-"modified" for Ray).

      * When did you order? Ryoma: 2014-01-18, Ray: 2014-03-30
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? I am a newbie :daisy, and I have very little to compare them too so far, except for our sweet DollLove MSD. But: Yes. I especially like the matte texture and slightly grainy feel of that particular kind of resin, it's awesome to the touch, and not to forget, the aesthetics of the sculpts.

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures?
Yes, very much so, or better.

      * Were you satisfied with the product? Absolutely yes.

      * Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional).
Positives: The sculpts of both of the bodies are wonderful in my opinion, and I am referring to muscles/bones/hands & feet details here :aheartbea:wiggle. My Ryoma has the potential for lots and lots of awesome poses, but "full operation" with lots of joints requires full concentration, otherwise he's not willing. Ray on the other hand has a single-, not double-jointed torso (like Ryoma), helping him stand solidly with ease, but he's equally fun to pose, too (seriously).
Speaking of the heads, Ryoma is one of a kind, and probably the only one able to convince me to jump into cold waters. I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't have bonded with him. Ray... he surprised me so much with his personality, I really can't emphasize enough how he took my breath away when I first saw him. And with every new day. The faceups are awesome and played a major part in stealing my heart away. The blushing on hands and feet is exquisite (but not exceptionally durable I suppose).

      Negatives:
The emotional boy body (Ryoma) was not easy for me to handle at first. It took a while to convince him to stand, and I still have to be cautious, as he tends to be kicky. But in the meantime I became more skilled, or got used to his trickiness, and it works for me. The 70 Emotional male body is a very stable stander and doesn't usually move when you don't want him to.
Seamlines: I'm neutral. Ray's are less prominent than Ryoma's. They are there, but they won't cut either.
Regarding the bodyblushing, again: I love it, however, Ryoma's has started to rub off already and will have to be repaired by me sooner or later (probably this wouldn't have happened to him in the hands of an experienced owner, so I feel really sorry for his bad luck of being a "first"). Probably it could be advisable to ask for extra layers of coating. A funny detail about Ray is, the blushing of his hands doesn't exactly match (one is darker), but to me this is a minor issue. I would, however, notify them with my next order, and ask for extra diligence - doesn't hurt. I was looking for something special, a handmade, and not the immaculate or "perfect" doll, so I'm happy.

      * Would you buy more from this company? Yes. Communication was so lovely, too - they won me over.
