1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. 2. I think a Birth of BJDs Day would be cool! Maybe it would be on the date of the first sale of Volks’s first doll? Since Volks is the company that started BJDs as we know them in this hobby.

Artist Appreciation Day would be nice too, celebrating the artists who create the dolls and all the legit companies.

    3. There’s a breed of horse (Thoroughbred) that has a universal birthday. No matter when the horse is born, its “birthday” is January 1 (August 1 for Southern Hemisphere). That might make keeping track of arrivals a little tricky, but we could have a universal “new doll” day where it’s one giant birthday. Call it Arrival Day or something and celebrate any dolls’ birthdays on that. As long as we don’t use it for dating dolls for sale, it could be a lot of fun.

    4. I love the idea of Artist Appreciation Day! This would be really fun for a newbie like to follow along with to learn even more about the BJD world.

    8. I like this idea too, especially if it turns into events that newbies who are curious about can easily join into without feeing too pressured about not having a doll yet.

    9. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Pro BJD Artists Day? :huh?:
I believe it is always the 3rd Sunday of November, which will make it 21 Nov. this year.
On Pro BJD Artists Day, you post a picture of your doll(s) with a supportive message.
(I think this was the first in 2014 https://denofangels.com/threads/pro-bjd-artists-day-november-16th.650049/)
There are many more examples for subsequent years if you search the hashtag #probjdartists or #probjdartistsday on many social media platforms.
