1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I used to live in the Ft Lauderdale area, and I'm seconding Morikami Gardens if it's not too far of a drive. I've met doll owners there during its Hatsume Fair, and at the Florida Renaissance Festival, both of which were a bit of a drive for me, but not unreasonable for a few times a year.

    3. Hmm never worried too much about shade because photo shoots usually last about an hour or two untill we head somewhere else for food or sit down or whatever. :)

    4. Ah yeah.. I got my first doll right at the beginning of summer so I haven't gotten a chance to do any photography yet- I'm going to try once it starts cooling down some (and maybe get some nice halloween pics).

I'm definitely excited to, though. Hoping to get some nature pics by a lake close to me.

    8. West coast of Florida here Tampa/Clearwater/St.Petersburg area.

I really like Lettuce Lake park for some very nice outdoors woodsy pictures.
Lake Park is really nice too, for the same thing, bonus is the horse trails, archery area, and kayaking if you are into any of that.
For the beaches I like Clearwater and Madeira Beach. I got a lot of pictures with my (off topic) Smart Doll there.

I also really like Fort Desoto the old cannons are awesome, along with the old armoury buildings, you get get a lot of pirate themed pictures there! I plan on taking a doll to St. Augustine as well. The old fort and lighthouse seem like excellent places for a photo shoot, and how awesome wold it be to take pictures in the oldest city in the U.S.?

I tend to only bring one doll at a time when I leave the house, and I keep them in doll backpack along with the camera so hopefully nothing gets lost.
