Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. A place to keep your dolls......?

Mar 26, 2010

    1. Aww that's so sweet!.......I love this little house for your tinies!

    2. Oh, Maddy, that is such a great setup you have there!

My poor boys are crammed into a glass display cabinet, with the littlies sitting on a couple of SD laps and legs criss-crossing everywhere :sweat Unfortunately, they can't sit around the place due to the amount of dust this house lets in. I would love a matching cabinet, but I can't find one, so I might have to make do with what I have and actually get it set up the way I would like it to look.

    3. I have a collection of TY beanie baby bears on a shelf that I sit Mekare with when I'm sleeping or playing with my birds. Other than that, she comes with me ^_^

    4. My house is rather open with a lot of windows and sunlight. My bedroom is a large room with no sun light now that I have blinds/shades up so the majority of my dolls are in cabinets placed in the room. My BJDs are up on the dresser and chest of drawers so that my Whippet can't reach them.

    5. At home my dolls live in my room- the minis hang out on their new bench, and Cass sleeps on my bed, with Maika sometimes for company. (It's a big bed, so I get most of it, and they get the lower corner where they won't get kicked or thrown off- I sleep wildly XD) Edissen hangs out at the foot of my bed, on top of my BJD supplies box since he's a bit of an idiot and continually falls over onto his newly painted face. :doh

I have no idea where I'll keep the lot when I move into my new apartment for school this year. I don't know my roommates, so hopefully they'll like dolls- if not, they're gonna want to avoid my room at all costs... :sneaky

    6. Anything I collect just goes on my desk. I have new wall shelves I bought that I want to use to put my dolls on and figures because they all take up too much space for me too do any work.

    7. most of my doll are tinies so they just sit in my bookshelf which had a space for dollies.
and some of yo-SD size were stay in the box.
I hope I could make a dollhouse someday for them^^

    8. My dolls are living in a doll house!

    9. Right now, I have my dolls on a high shelf in my room, with a silk scarf 'curtain' to hide them from the sun when I'm not looking at them. BUT! I have plans to turn my rather oddly-shaped closet into a HUGE DOLLHOUSE. I mean, it would only have about three to five good-sized SD scale rooms, but I only have 3 dolls right now, one of which is yo-sd size. So When I convert the closet into a dollhouse, They can each have their own room wit hfurniature and things thay like, and instead of a curtain, I can just close the doors.

(Wow, this makes it sound like I have a huge closet... I really don't! It's very wide, but awkward for getting clothes out of 'cause it's raised over these built-in drawers and then the top shelf inside the closet is above the line of the doorway, and so hard to reach from outside.)

    10. Well,I dont have mine yet,but I know where to put her.My idea was,in my closet there is a group of shelves starting at the floor and working there way up,so im renovating the shelves to make rooms for a house. But we might be moving,so then all my renovating will go to waste :P.

    11. I know your pain:

This is a fairly old pic I guess but it does show the crammage. I have sorted it since, as my Pullips now reside in their own cabinet. Ignore me, I was going out and my partner wanted a pic of me introducing my doll cabinet *why I dont know...*

    12. I don't buy anything bigger than MSD and they sit in the shelving of my computer desk. I have some huuuuge boxes leftover from Christmas and have been tinkering with the idea of making scenes for them. I have a dark curtain to blot out the sun in my office so they stay in there. I spend most of my time in there anyway, so it works out fine :3

A dollhouse would be soooo cute, but then I know I'd get obsessive with decorating it...

    13. My MSD boy is currently sharing a bookshelf with my other books, however he has a compartment (that has a glass pane to cover and prevent dust from getting to him) all to himself. I am hoping to get a small cabinet specially for my dolls in future. ^^

    14. They either stand on their doll stands on my compter/sewing table, sit on the bookshelf or they lay in their boxes which push nicely under my bed. As much as I love company, I love to have them out of the way safe and sound too. I think I'll be putting them in the boxes more when Im not in the room, just to keep them in the best shape. But I hate not having company when im hanging out in my room so they'll be out plenty.

    15. I just got a cool set of shelves for my room, so I can organize some of the junk in my room, as well as have a nice place for my current and future dollies to hang out. I like having Mirai somewhere where I can see her as opposed to hiding her away.

The idea of a dollhouse would be so wicked cool, but I might reserve that for smaller dolls should I get any. Then again, I might just decide to go crazy with a big project like that over the summer. :3

    16. I at one point had a big modern-style dollhouse, but I later decided that it was time to invest in newer furniture, and there was no longer any room for the dollhouse. The bed I have now has a headboard with shelves that slide out. There's three shelves on each side, and each shelf can fit one to two 60 cm dolls, or one 70cm doll. The shelves slide right into the headboard, out of sight and sun, and whenever I need one, I just pull the shelves out and grab it. There's a half shelf on each side above the others that can hold clothing and other small items.

    17. When I'm at home, Saki's usually near me and is on my bed, desks, stairs (with the carpet), the couches in th living room/etc. Before I go to sleep, I put him in a pose on my desk. When I'm not at home, I let him sit in this closet, and close the door until I take him out again when I get home. My incoming MSD will fit in the closet with Saki, however when I get my 65-70cm in the future, he's going to have to lie down in there.

I'm planning to make a little space for them though. Maybe a bed where I can fit the two of them. xD

    18. I just got a DZ Megi, so he's wandering around with me ^^
He sits near me, when I'm at the computer and he 'sleeps' over the night in his dz box =P

My boyfriend is going to build me a bedfor him.

    19. OMG you have a great collection of dollies there!....wonderful!:)

    20. I have the same bed, and never thought to use it for that! You are brilliant ^_^ I was going to go to Ikea and get a few of the EXPEDIT series book shelves for future dolls so that each can have a cube to themselves as a room of sorts :)
