1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

A place to keep your dolls......?

Mar 26, 2010

    1. In the day mine live on the dining room table sitting on different books, and at night I take them up to my room and they sit on my CD player's speakers. I like moving them around to be where I am and posing them through out the day.

    2. I keep them in my room where they have 3 rooms I set for them on a display unit I got from ikea specially for them . They are set in front of my bed , because I love looking at them before I go to sleep.

    3. Mine are linked in my signature. Not everyone is there. Some are awaiting bodies and some have gained bodies since the picture was taken.

    4. I have some in cabinets (tinies) with little scenes set for them (chairs, rugs, and such) and then then the MSD and SDs ones are up on shelves all around the house...dining room, family room, guest bedroom, etc.

    5. My little girl stands right beside my computer screen. She's a good stander and the screen helps in case of a fall. I do have cats but they show no interest in her. Its been a couple weeks with her being home..and so far shes so no kitty toy and my cats are all over the desk. They are trust worthy kitties I guess. LOL. I would like to put her on the shelf I have in the living room but for some reason it worries me more than my computer screen. o_O

    6. My dolly (will) live on my Shelf of Cute Misc. Stuff, with my My Little Ponies and the stuffed animals that don't get to hang out in my bed. The lower shelf is just the perfect size for her to sit on, and not a whole lot of light gets in there (not a major concern of mine, but I'd prefer she not turn bright yellow right away)
It's also so covered in random little sometimes pokey things that my cats don't have any interest in jumping up there. They haven't even gotten at my ponies, and I was sure those would be a prime target for the beasts.

    7. I bought a display cabinet for all my smaller dolls because they sat on an open shelf next to my paints, brushes, pastels and other artsy stuff. The large dolls sit on my bookshelf as the cabinet isn't high enough.

    8. Doll shelves. I have at least three shelves strictly for dolls of every kind(from porcelains to collectible Barbies), and my BJD's will probably go on those shelves too. I like to display my dolls proudly for everyone to see, but I also want them out of reach from small children.

    9. i keep my girls in a built-in bookcase in my room. i like to decorate their individual shelves with trinkets and kick-knacks my girls would like. its fun going to stores and finding doll sized stuff to add to the shelve decor!

    10. I currently keep my dolls on an unused bookshelf, but I'm planning to get a smaller one at a thrift store or good will so I'll have someplace to put them when our books are unpacked!

    11. My dolls are in a beautiful glass showcase custom made. Unless they're helping me with their new costumes or on there way to photo shoots, doll clubs, etc.

    12. I have mine in the 'tv' spot of an old entertainment center. It is deepset enough so that the light doesnt hit them much :)

    13. I want a display cabinet for ALL of my dolls, SO badly, lol. They've outgrown the dollhouse, and since I've got 2 SDs on the way, they're to BIG for the house anyway. I can't wait to move into a whole apartment where I have room to display all of my happies in the proper way!

    14. Got a shelf put up above my desk when I redecorated my room last year, now they all sit up there. It's good because now I can use my desk for studying again. :P

    15. well sadly since this is a rent house+store he spent his time most in the box :(
but for past few days i take him out and most of the time he is sitting or laying or relaxing on my bed ~
      :)

    16. My dolls are kind of here & there--I wish I had a dedicated room where they could all be without concern about sunlight or other environmental stuff. An armoire in my bedroom houses a group that I don't want to expose to light, others are in a bookshelf in my computer room. My Latis & Elfdoll tiny live together in one of the big Lati boxes where it's all padded & comfy. I just keep the lid on to protect them from light. It would be sweet to be able to set them all up with rooms & all . . . maybe one of these days!

    17. Mine did have their own den on my computer desk...
Then they were atop my chest of draws with their bed...
And now they've been put on my lowest shelf to remain there since I need space in my room. Any more Dolls and I will have to put some in storage.

    18. I used to have a book shelf for them but they currently reside on my dresser...
It's definitely not the best but I don't have space for them anywhere else unless I were to box them and put them away which I don't want to do.

    19. When I bought my first doll I knew I wanted to have a 'place' for him-- so I bought a lovely doll-sized sofa. It holds my two dolls-- and could probably take a third, but after that point I'm afraid I'd need more space for them xD

    20. I only have a one-room appartment and have not so much space. So Anri changes his place as I need the space for something. But I´m trying to make him a spot in my bookshelf by the mangas.
