1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

A place to keep your dolls......?

Mar 26, 2010

    1. Mine sit right next to me on the rest of my sleeper :)

    2. I've got a couple bookshelves coming in, and when I've stowed all my belongings, I am planning on leaving a shelf (possibly raised higher to accommodate her size) as a bed-cubby for my incoming SD girl, with its own curtains!

    3. I have a closet where I keep all of my dolls. It's not too big, nor too small. Plus, it keeps the dust off them, and I have no fear that they will get hurt in there.

But whenever I do take them out, I usually sit them on top of my bookshelf, where they can hang out during the day.:)

    4. I keep mine in my sewing room with the curtains drawn and the door shut against cats. But then they don't get as much attention so sometimes I'll bring one to the living room where she can sit and be admired :)

    5. my crews stay in my bedroom to prevent the super kitten invasion lol

    6. My dolls kind of follow me around the house depending on where I'm spending a lot of time. They usually sit on the back of the couch next to me as I spend a lot of time there when I'm home.

    7. my dad probebly hates me for it but i have my dolls sitting on the spare lounge room seat, i sat them on the pillows i got from my first doll and blanket to tuck them in at night if they get cold, and the cabnet in the lounge room was suppose to be for dads collection but i stuffed two shelves full of doll clothes and accessories i got xD;;

    8. My dolls are on top of a small bookshelf (away from my cat, not that she would be interested in them - she only really plays with strings). I can see them when I walk in to my room and look over at them when I'm at the computer. They are also within easy access (not to high up) to pose if I feel the need to :)

    9. I bought a doll bag for my dolls to keep them safe ^_^ and I don't place my dolls in high temperature place

    10. my dolls have their own seat where all of them make their daysXD and me banning from it, because my cuties love their new place vv°

    11. All of my MSD sized and larger dolls are sitting on bookshelves or sometimes my bed, but all of my smaller doll have a little section set up with chairs and beds that they mostly stay at. I have all of this set up in my bedroom as it's the room that gets the least light in the house.

    12. Like a lot of others have mentioned, I plan to keep mine on a bookshelf..I'm an Ikea fan as well and have on of the tall bookshelf models that has shelves whose heights can be changed easily..I'll keep a few small sections for books and a larger middle section for my doll.. I really hope I can find/make some nice furniture as well. I tried to enlist my boyfriend but he said she would have to grow 5 feet before he could build anything for her. :sweat

    13. I would like a nice curio cabinet...preferably with a lock !! ;)

    14. My little lady tends to sit in the space at the end of my bed, with most of my stuffed animals. It's piled high enough that she's visible and easy to access for photos. She seems to like Edgar, the 53" bear.

    15. I have this bookshelf I've had since I was little, and I like keeping my doll covered up at night so I cleared off the top shelf for her and put a cloth over the top of the bookcase to go over her little shelf. I kept her in a box for a long time but since it was really out of the way, I tended to forget about her more there.

    16. I keep my Luka in her box in my room and my other 2 less expensive dolls have a nice comfy place in a drawer in my desk in my room.

    17. I would love to display my dolls throughout in the house.
But I have a husband and five cats. My husband don't like my dolls and my cats love them to much :-)
So I have a little room, where I display them. But they share the space with bears and other things. So sometimes it is really tight.....

    18. I have bought a bookshelf from Ikea and I use it like little rooms for my dolls!! I wish I had more space to make them feel a little more comfortable!! but still they have their own room to rest and most of them are sitting in a sofa like bed in this bookshelf so I think they are happy with that!!

    19. I would like to keep them out where every one can see them but I have neices and nephews that like to tough everything even when you tell them not to. So, they are in my room on my dresser. Eventually I will get furnature and such and make a room like area for them on the dresser.

    20. Since we are just two in our three bedroom home, one room has been converted to the dollhouse. the BJDs live in a six bedroom doll house, but mostly hang out in their living room. yes, I collect doll furniture also. They share the room with 400 O.T. dolls in their rooms.
