1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

A place to keep your dolls......?

Mar 26, 2010

    1. wardrobe and big bag~

    2. I like to sit her beside me when I'm doing something like on the computer, watching, tv, or sewing. Otherwise she sit around my room or in her chair on my night stand.

    3. I have an entire room devoted to my dolls (it is supposed to be a guest room)...I have four of them in acrylic display wall mounted case and then the others are in two sliding glass door cases I have for them. I can see them and really enjoy them and show them off too! Plus it is great to be able to take them out for play and change clothes and them just put them back again!

    4. My doll has taken over the top of my (short) bookshelf. He used to sit directly on the top of the bookshelf, but then I bought him a blanket and a box to put his clothes in, so now he sits on his blanket on the box...and his dress form stands behind him wearing his body block, crochet hat, and glasses...XD

    5. I keep them in my bedroom since the curtains are always shut in there. I have a 3' dresser with two shelves above it, and those three surfaces are dedicated to being doll space. I like being able to stare at them for a while before I go to sleep. Fortunately, though my fiance finds many of them to be creepy, it doesn't bother him that they're in the bedroom. :)

    6. In his box under my bed. I feel bad at times, like he just wants to hang out instead of just in the dark, then i remember he's a demon. ;)

    7. I have not special cabinet for them, I let them stand on book shelf some in box :D

    8. boxes, no one knows he is there, which makes me feel safe

    9. Wow this thread is still going, Lol.......atm my three SDs are sat next to my armchair on the coffee table, I keep saying I'm going to put them in my bedroom but won't see them much then...........I feel like I should move them to stop people coming out with sarcastic comments, as it gets me so angry.....my daughter says stuff other people, if they don't like them that's their problem.;)

    10. As I still live with my parent's, and so mine stay in my bedroom where I always keep the curtains closed anyway. I have a large dresser, with the Mirror on top attached on 2 small drawers (its one of those separate pieces that hook on) My dolls right now are all SD so they sit on there, its the perfect size for a bench. The drawers under them house floating heads or small accessories. I do want to remove the attached mirror and hang a large one on the wall behind the main dresser, and then add a nice SD couch (like dollmore's) before it for them.

Though if I ever get more then 5 BJDs I'm going to have to find more room, I wish I had a walk in closet. That would probably be ideal for me as it would keep out the light and my dog.

    11. My house is tiny but I love being surrounded by my dolls so they live in the livingroom, some in a large glass cabinet, others on open shelves & even a small group sitting in chairs on the floor. Since I don't spend much time in my bedroom except to sleep, I like having my dolls where they can be enjoyed every day & I can play with them more frequently.

    12. here is the routin: put them in the dress room in my bedroom before i go sleep. take them out to my study downstairs in the morning. hold them to my bedroom when i go upstairs . put them back to dress room before go sleeping . this really make me keep fit believe me = =~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    13. I keep mine in her box. It seems pretty cozy ^^.

    14. Noumi, I think the box is a great idea too. It seems safe and cozy

    15. I keep all my BJD, when they are not hanging out, on several shelves within several bags I purchased specially for them and a suitcase trolley I also bought for them which stays on the floor, in my office room at home. They must be kept safe into such a place as this is not a smoking free home and we have a new dog who almost does not know what BJD are yet.

    16. For the most part, I store them on a shelf with a few of my action figures and a limited edition game controller. It's mostly a display shelf. I just take the few things on it off to play with them every once in awhile, and to dust.

    17. I usually keep my dolls in my bedroom.....

    18. Two sit on my bed at the moment, others are on a shelf and the rest sit on a pseudo Japanese coffer.

    19. I have my dolls in their boxes in my sewing room.

    20. I only have a tiny. She sits in her Stitch table/chair set on my dresser. I'm working on getting a dollhouse for her. =)
