1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

A Small Collection or a Big One?

Jun 11, 2012

    1. I really don't think I could ever go over ten. The idea of having fifty just completely blows my mind. On top of just feeling like that's too much, I also don't have space for more than maybe four or five, and that's just with the dolls themselves. If I take into account the material for faceups and fabric and wigs and clothes and sewing, I technically don't even have the space for two at most!

    2. I really like the SD size and larger. And my wish list still has about 15 to 20 on it....It's the and larger size though that is a problem for me...where to put that many bigger size dolls. I don't even count the tiny guys. They sorta just sneak in. I guess I have about 7 right now? Not including OT...

    3. It's so hard to say your not going to buy another and then literally another Bjd comes out and it's love all over again. Personally I want many Bjd. I'm at three and I said I would stop at two but what do you know, I'm already looking for more potential dolls to buy. So for me the more the better, I want to have them from all sizes and brands! (Well the brands that I like at least)

    4. Small collection for now!

    5. I intend to keep my collection small. Even if money wasn't an issue, I still would want just a couple of dolls. I feel I wouldn't be able to give enough care and time to a huge collection.

    6. I'm thinking of stopping at 10/15 or so. That'll probably change though down the road lol.

    7. Well, I've got 24 at home(permanently), a few more on the way(2 more on the way) and 20+ dolls on my wish-list. So, I'd have to say large would cut it.

    8. Personally I would be happy with a small doll family :) I currently have two BJDs and this is set to increase to 4 in the next month and hopefully 5 by the end of the year. There are a good few dolls I may add next year, but if I was getting into double figures, well figures in excess of 20 I might start to feel a little anxious about owning so many dolls. I've had phases where I have had in excess of 20 and as much as I liked the dolls I just felt uncomfortable with owning so many!

    9. I plan to expand my collection by a lot in the not so near future, but at the moment I only have one doll. 10 - 15 is getting on the big side for me.
