The most appropriate place to discuss your feelings about what happens on other forums or sites is on your own personal blog - if you'd like to connect off-site with your friends on DoA, make sure you link your blog in your signature so you can find each other on Blogger/Tumblr/LiveJournal...

So guys, I'm curious, especially being younger funds usually tend to be more limited...how do you all go about saving for your dolls?

I do odd jobs for money, but accumulating loose change, selling a few unused things, and occasions like birthdays and Christmas are usually where additions to the doll fund come in. A job would be amazing (especially for the summer) but a lot of places aren't readily hiring at the moment.

@Anikaze I'v been saving up for a while. And at my past job, i worked at party city during halloween time, so i worked a ton of hours, which racked up the money. But i guess you already did both of those. :/

I've been thinking about breaking my "no tiny dolls" rule and getting a little 21cm pet doll from Coco Tribe I started collecting Monster High dolls and found that the smaller dollies aren't soooo bad~

Yeah, getting a job seems the only way to get around this hobby >.<
Sadly, I don't have the time to get a part-time job now. I'm planning on doing so in October but right now with my exams and all it just seems impossible.

On the other hand, all the money I've been saving will go towards accessories, props and shoes for my little girl. Since I plan on selling some BJD clothes in the near future, I made a promise to myself that I won't buy any other doll until I sell enough stuff to cover the money I spent on my first one
