Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. i got my bertram head! i will post photos tonite!!

    2. Mine's here too.:fangirl: I'm thinking of violet eyes and medium brown long hair. The name is coming to me but it's not quite here yet.

      The overall quality is very good. The resin is smooth, no thin areas, head cap fits together very well, eye sockets are well beveled. My only issue (and it's small issue) is that he barely has any eyewells so getting his eyes to stay in is slightly more challenging than usual. He's wearing some 16mm Dollshe eyes right now, I think I'll try to find him some 14's since his eyes are so small.

      His resin isn't quite perfect match to anything I have. I think with a few lightening coats of Zoukimura finishing spray he'll be a better match to Volks normal which means he should match Custom House normal as well. He looks very close to my old HyperManiac body. With daytime lighting I can report back on a few other resins.

      I think I might take advantage of that Custom House membership sometime soon...:)

It touched down on a friday and no post office was operational during the weekend which is a bummer cause I was really looking forward for a face up to do this weekend ^^''

      Is the resin more pink in hue or more yellow? Is it also pale like...say Senior Delf? or more warm like...Volks?...from the 2 pictures above, the head looks very dark? As in the colour is stronger as opposed to pale looking is that right?

      Also, does anyone here have either a Migidoll Ryu or a Miho? Is this Bertram head in the same scale with Migidoll heads? or is it not in the same scale (like a Dollshe doll to a Volks)?

    4. It's more like Volks normal but has a slightly darker (I almost want to say olive) undertone. My HM boy is several years old and has aged a little so he's my closest match.

    6. Does anyone know of another male doll body that is beefy like Unidoll's Real body? Anything between the sizes of 60-68cm will work. I would do a Unidoll body for this head but I think the resin may be too way off. Any suggestions would be appreciated.:)

    7. The only muscular boy body I know of that is made to match Volks normal (which should be close enough to AiL) is the Dollstown 15. I don't have one in normal skin myself but I could probably manage a hed swap on my white 15 if you want to see proportions. :)

    9. Even though it's always said that Domuya is a good match to Volks I don't think the necks on those boys are long enough for any other head type to sit properly. I don't mind a natural looking shorter neck but I don't like the look of no neck.

      Is Leeke that close to Volks normal?

    10. I was wondering if Feeple body would work? lol... I'm probably way off...anyone else can suggest bodies?

      My head is still in the postal system somewhere, they said they'll deliver it tomorrow I'm not hoping for much.

      Anyone who's got them with face up pleeaseee pleassee post piccies here :D

      I don't mind if the resin is a little off, because that can be fixed with blushing. Besides, I figure I'll have to settle for a body with resin a different shade if I want a wider body.

      Bertram head on Iplehouse muscle type - male body in NORMAL SKIN:

      Verdict:
      - Not a good match by a long shot (head too pink and dark, while body too pale and yellow)
      - Proportion to head however is great. The neck height is just right, the head size in relation to torso width and arm length is proportionate.

      Bertram head on Domuya Perrenial Fin - female body in NORMAL SKIN:

      Verdict:
      - With my naked eye, the colour is a very very close match, I even thought it was a perfect match, but my camera picks up the difference.
      - I had this on a female body I'm not sure how big the male body is in relation to the female, but on the female, the Bertram head is a lot bigger for its neck and doesn't look too in proportion with the width of the torso.


      Bertram head next to Senior Delf - male body in REAL SKIN:

      Verdict:
      - Not a good match by a long shot (head too dark, while body too pale) although they are both in the right hue: leaning towards pink rather than yellow.
      - Proportion to head however is great. The neck height is just right, the head size in relation to shoulder width and arm length is proportionate.

      Bertram head next to SD13 Volks - NORMAL SKIN:

      Verdict:
      - It's a very damn close match! It's only very slightly different, but you can fix this easily with the right blushing.
      - Proportion to head however is not so great. The neck height is just right, but the head size in relation to shoulder width and arm length might be ytoo big to be in proportion.


      I haven't bothered with Dollshe cause neither body proportion nor colour of resin match very well.
