* How was the communication?
The communication was amazing! I can't even describe how wonderful it was. I wanted to send the doll to a friend of mine as a gift (the doll was in stock) and I asked if it was possible to put a message in the box for her.
She said that it wasn't a problem and that I should just put in the box. I did what she asked and she send me a message that she would go to the store the following day to buy a cute card where she could put the message on (she didn't charge me or anything and the card was huge!)
Honestly, the customer service I received from this company is better than most. She always answers within 24 hours (even on the weekend) and she answered all of my questions (no matter how stupid they were). It was an amazing experience as a buyer to be able to have such good customer service, it makes me feel a but less nervous knowing the doll I bought is in good hands

Almost 4 weeks exactly, which was the estimated time. My doll arrived only 6 days after shipping!!


* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

The quality of my doll is beyond gorgeous, and I'm so lucky to have got her as part of an event. She's worth so much more than I paid.

5 stars, I am delighted with the doll and the service. They even threw in a free gift.

I was surprised and annoyed to see that AC charges paypal fees, and nowhere on the site does it warn you of this prior to going through checkout. However I asked them about it, and they gave a reasonable and polite explanation - that they either had to charge the fees or start charging shipping costs. I'd still rather they just add the fees to the price of the dolls, but if you think of the meager charge as a tiny handling fee it is worth paying.

In a heartbeat. My shopping cart is already bursting!

Yes, although I'd rather buy from them directly after such great service.

I didn't find the communication great in overall, however, when I emailed them asking for updates, the reply was very quick. Alice did mentioned my package would be shipped around the 9th and was only shipped 2 weeks later.

I didn't have to communicate with AC at all (I knew there would be a wait as I asked for a face-up from DL), but I did receive order confirmation and shipping notice emails.

Shipped Feb 6, 2015 and arrived Feb 17 (although I goofed and didn't answer the door so I had to go pick up the box at the PO the next day).

It was fantastic. I e-mailed Alice's several times asking about the doll before I bought it. They were always quick to reply and very polite. They e-mailed me with any updates to my order, and even checked on my shipping when I asked them to.

I received an email after I paid, I sent an email today (4/18/15) because I haven't received an communication or my order yet

So far my order still says processing, after I received an email I think the next day it took another 3 maybe 5 days to ship and then 2 weeks for the items to arrive. I was a little disappointed they told me once the items shipped they marked my items as received (due to how long it takes for me to actually receive the items).

for the most part

sort of...they picture the outfits on SD sized dolls so I didn't actually get to see msd sized outfits. The sweater looked really cute in the sales picture but it's actually not that great...then I realized you don't see much of the sweater in the sales pic.

the full outfit and tights, yes, the sweater...not so much

Idk. it took longer for them to ship than originally stated that being said the communication was very prompt and very nice.

Good, they let me know about the delays and problems before I had to ask.

The order was despatched on 27th April 2015 and arrived on 12th May 2015.Alice's Collections were very apologetic about the delay, which wasn't their fault. The delay was due to getting the gloves from M3 Studio. At first they said the white was not available so they offered black instead. After another while they told me they were not able to get any further reply from M3 Studio about the gloves so they would send the rest of the order as they felt I had already been waiting far too long.

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
Yes, the coat is very good and the wig is fine.

Yes.

* Were you satisfied with the product?
Yes. (Except for the gloves which were never supplied to Alice's Collections. Not sure that I will ever get these actually.)

It was no fault of Alice, but it was not. The doll had several chips when I received her and the resin around her right eye is so thin, I am worried that I will put a hole in it.
Alice was able to contact Souldoll for me and I will be getting new parts.

Wonderful! Alice answered all of my questions no matter how silly. She answered within minutes sometimes and even on weekends. This is my first BJD and Alice was so kind, helpful and understanding.

It took 1 month from the time I ordered until my package was delivered to me. What amazed me is when my order did ship it took about 38 hours from the start to the time I received it (from Hong Kong to the US).
