Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.       I ordered her in August to be the culmination of my year long celebration, and having her arrive in 2016 would be the perfect end to a great dolly year! :dance:dance:dance *throws confetti*

    15. My Tan Heeah. It's a combined birthday/christmas gift from my boyfriend, and I'm so excited, I ordered eyes for her yesterday so hopefully they will arrive at roughly the same time. :D

      Unrealistically, I want dollshe Arsene. He's the only male doll I ever wanted because he's the only one that fits my aesthetic. Alas I would rather continue paying off the small debt I accumulated being unemployed for a bit, rather than buy another doll... But I can dream....

      Unfortunately, I have a hard time getting my family to understand that, yes, money is an acceptable gift, and it helps me fund the things I really want, but would be inappropriate to ask for.

      EX, an expensive doll-- the one my eye is on is $1000+, but I've been saving! I don't want someone to blow $1000 on me; I want a small monetary contribution so I can complete my savings for her!

      Not to mention, this hobby does require some niche knowledge. Imagine trying to communicate the desired resin color, options, things that would fit her, and "yeah, don't worry, a 6 month wait time is totally normal"... I appreciate the want to gift it to me, but it is sooo much easier if I just do it myself.

      Hence, I would greatly prefer if my family contribute to my savings for dolls rather than give me dolls.

      I see someone's beaten me to it-- but I'll say it again!!! :)


      In the spirit of the thread, though: a DZ Sawarieda and a Miracle Doll Jing head :) Maybe even a body for the Jing, as I've found a good deal...

      Oh, and some cool metallic acrylic paint-- and fine opalescent glitter-- would be cool, too! :D And more sealant. And-- most unrealistically-- ...maybe some nice weather? :3nodding:
