Absolutely! * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Better in all honesty. The lips are definitely more peach coloured than the company product picture face-up. * Were you satisfied with the product? Absolutely! * Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional) He is amazingly well balanced. He can stand on one foot! I will say that he is a little squeaky though, but incredibly pose-able. * Would you buy more from this company? Absolutely! Though Galahad is definitely my favourite design.
I am mostly happy with the doll, but there are some caveats. * What did you order? Aquaria 1/4 with all her stuff and a faceup. * When did you order? I ordered her on August 30th. It took one month for the fullset to be made. * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Considering this is one of the cheapest fullset on the market I'd say yes. The doll has two torso joints that slip out of position relatively easily, but she has good range of motion and holds her poses once she's in position. Could probably handle better still if she were more tightly strung. The clothes were a bit bulkier than I expected (difficult to make it look like in the photos) and the hat has some of the hot glue visible, where the bow was attached to the head. I also think the petticoat is a bit too tight, was very difficult to put on. Overall the items seem to be well-sown. The wig itself is also decent, looks like in the photos and fits. However, it won't stay on her head without help because of how slippery it is. I attached to small velcro stickers to her head to keep it on. The free faceup looks great though, am very happy with that. Now, the biggest problem I have with the fullset are the shoes, which were already sold out. You'd expect that the company would either refund the difference or include another pair that looks similar or at least fits with the fullset, but instead they sent pink and white sweet lolita looking shoes for a fullset that is orange, purple, black and witch-themed. They don't suit the fullset. Alice's Collections actually told me about this before sending her to me, and we actually resolved this by having ALM doll send another pair of my choosing (to be sent with my other unshipped order). Edit: This means that I will actually be getting two pair of shoes, which is neat, although the doll might keep on wearing the boots I already put her in. It should be noted that the doll was recently (as in: after mine arrived) taken off multiple dealers sites, so maybe I just happened to get her before she was discontinued. Would explain the lack of shoes. * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Mostly. Except the shoes. I also got green eyes instead of blue (not a problem, suits her well). The doll herself looks less moody than in the sales pictures. She's very cute. * Were you satisfied with the product? Overall I am. The set is very cute, the doll by itself is delightful. For the price she's great. * Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product (optional) Positives are the overall look of the doll, the doll itself and the faceup (with the nice green glass eyes). Negatives are the shoes and the surprising bulkiness of the set as well as the visible glue on the hat. * Would you buy more from this company? Probably, if a doll really catches my attention.
