1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Am I the only one who think company produced is enough?

Aug 29, 2013

    1. I think fullsets are beautiful but I'm never tempted to buy them, because I know that inevitably I would get bored with it quickly. My dolls are all characters with very specific styles and usually the generic look of company faceups and outfits doesn't really suit them. I do love to admire photos of them, though.

The only doll with company faceup, wig and outfit (if it were availible) I have ever been tempted to buy is Dreaming Doll Airi. I don't know why but I think she is do perfect and lovely just as she is. I want to like own prints of the company photos, she's that beautiful. e-e I wouldn't change anything.

Otherwise though I can't even buy a head without wanting to mod it, haha. I am all about customization and can never leave well enough alone.

    2. I actually only currently have one doll with a custom face-up. Generally speaking, I really like the make-up that comes with dolls I choose. Clothes are meant to be changed, imo, so those will forever be something I fidget with. I have only ever bought one fullset and the doll that set is coming with will have other clothes to wear when she arrives. I buy fullsets if I like them, but generally I don't like it all. I want to add or subtract or just use bits and pieces from the set with other things I find. I change my dolls' clothes pretty often. I don't like having them static for extended periods of time.

    3. I own several fullset dolls. I use the items from the fullset as I do any other clothing - it gets passed to whomever I think looks good in it. My dolls change clothes all the time. As for faceups, well, I can't do them so I will take the company faceup most of the time. I do have one doll I bought as a fullset that I may end up sending off for a less dramatic face up, however.
