Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       Here is Kotoro doing some exercises to try and loosen her elastic a bit <3 I think it shows off her poseability pretty well, which is why I'm sharing :D :D

    7. I really like Vampire Shi, and bought one soon after the sculpt was released.

      I think one of the problems with Shi are the photos on the AOD site. Frankly, I think they are kind of terrible. The photos over at HappyHouse, where I purchased my Shi, are a lot nicer I think, and really show his sleepy-eyed beauty. (Happily, when I received my Shi, he did not have that gawdy blue eyeshadow. His face-up was similar to the one in the photo below.)

      I think what bothers me on the AoD site is that I don't care much about what they have her dressed in. Her face is really gorgeous, though. I def agree with that. The colorful faceup is really pretty, but doesn't suit Kotoro. I imagine her having greens and browns <3

    11. Ha, oh yeah, those outfits are awful. But I'm not a fan of most of the outfits that dolls get dressed in for their promo shots, so half the time I think I don't see them anymore. ^^;;

      Mmm, green and brown would be lovely with your tan skin beauty. Maybe a little bit of gold to make her shine. ^_^

    13. Golden makes a purely lovely gold paint, but oddly enough their bronze actually shows up as a darker gold, which looks great on tan skin. :) and of course, there's always the wonderful Pearl-x for that pretty shimmer on the cheeks. ^_^

      :/ I attempted to restring Ko so that I can loosen her elastic, but AoD cut them off right at the knot. Shes so tight that I can't stretch the elastic up back through the neck. So, I was going to unstring her legs and start at the top, but I cant get the lil hooks off the elastic to remove her feet xDDDD This is not going as planned! lol

      I did manage to spray her face with msc, though. That's good :o

    15. Eep. You may need to get her some new elastic. I usually keep an assortment of Coolcat elastic on hand for just that reason. >.>;

      The modded head will have to wait for later. I had such a time with restringing her back together that I want her head on so I don't have to mess with it for a little bit lol xDDD I am NOT allowed to make her anything that requires moving her head until she loosens a bit! D8

      I really love the owner pics of Shi, he is quite handsome :3 I like his profile a lot and I really think he would look nice tan. I mentioned it in my box opening that I was worried about how ORANGE the tan looked on the resin examples picture, but it isn't orange at all. As soon as her face up is done I'll get a lot of pics for you to see :3

      I saw that photostream, I saw a lot more potential in his sculpt when I saw him blank <3 <3

      I ended up slipping a ribbon through her elastic and back up to her neck, and hanging her off of a dining chair overnight. I padded the floor with couch cushions in case she fell, but she didn't at all. I was able to put her back together with no problem this morning ^^; SO faceup today on the unmodded head, stick it on, and be done D8 lol I DO need some back up elastics though, that's for sure. 8D Thanks for the link ^^ that is where I was going to buy them from <3 <3

    20. With the help of my hubby, I was able to get her head on xDD I stretched her elastic and he put the S hook in place for me :D
