1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Angel Region Feedback (2007-2008)

Dec 10, 2007

    1. I've had my Angel Region Fair Boy Dana for about five years now. I went on the site last year and the photo they had for a fair boy Dana was not the one I had, mine is more feminine.

Anyway, when I first recieved him, he had spotting on his chest. You had to turn him to the side to see the light reflecting off of it. I took him to an Antique Doll shop recently to be sanded and sealed (which was awesome, btw! Thirty-five dollars total, and no mailing!), I wanted him rewired, but they came across a problem. My doll, whose name is Ki, has two left legs.

Yes, you read right. Two left legs. He has a right and left foot and calf piece, but the thigh part where it connects to the torso are both lefties. I've had him for some time now, and I don't think Angel Region will be willing to replace the leg or not. :/ I'm very dissapointed in this, and also myself for not seeing it earlier. I was planning on buying from Angel Region again, but I don't think I will now.

The questions that I should answer:

What did you order? Fair Boy Dana, pre-assembled.
When did you order? I can't remember exactly, maybe five years.
How was the communication? There wasn't any, really.
How easy was it to pay? Very easy.
How long did it take to ship? Normal amount one would expect when a large package is coming from Korea to the US.
Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Except for the recent discovery, yes. The prices they have now are alot higher than what I payed, though.
Did the item look like the sales pictures? Mostly. I received an additional wig that wasn't pictured. The one in the photo didn't seem to fit the head properly.
Were you satisfied with the product? All in all, yes. I just wish I would have known what to look for in defects when I first got him.
If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I have yet to contact the company about it. I don't think anything would be done since it has been so long.
