Response to my order inquiry

Okay, the nervousness has started. Did I chose the right mold, the right make-up, yadda yadda. I always hate the time before they ship home. -_-

Anyone else have the nervousness start?

 

I have a tan Ren boy, too! ^^
I can't believe they'll have a Dana and others...woohoo! ^^

I had that for a little bit. But then I remembered that I love the headmold so it's all good.

 

See, but I don't absolutly love the head mold, it just what fits the character.

Was a panic too about my Present Ren- but her was my first.
Sieben I had no panic about though ^_^;

 

If it's perfect for the character than it's still good. I didn't immidiatly fall for the Igon head (unlike most of the board it seems. lol) but I realized it was perfect for Jeramy. Once it got here I was absolutely just... SO HAPPY about it. The doubts were there. Especially since he was a present. But it all went away because he IS perfect for the part and my love of my character I think blinds me to anything that I might not have liked.

 

You're right I'm sure. I felt so bloody guilty of doubting Azrael once he got here. I was really nervous over his half closed eyes (namily since at the time there was a discussion on the bord about it and people were expressing distast for them). Just need him to get here then I can have my worries put out of their misery.

 

*nods* I love the present ren eyes in person. In photos they look a bit strange but in real life the eyes are so clear. It's really neat.

I try to not pay too much attention to what others think when it comes to some things. With these dolls the only person they're really for is you.

I have some things that I don't like in certain dolls, which is one reason why I don't think I personally will get them. But that doesn't mean that those same things arn't loved by others. When it comes to personal preference instead of debate over facts it's nice not to worry about it too much.

Also the worst that can happen is you end up not liking your Dana and end up selling him. It's unlikely but at least you won't have lost too much. Where as the best would be opening the box and realizing just how perfect he is. And in this case the good response is so much more likely than the bad one that there isn't really anything to stress about. *Smiles*

 

Oh, I love the Present Ren too, and I did so much in his pictures, but being a relative newb, I couldn't help but wonder if they knew soemthing I didn't ^_^;
I usually ignor people, but nervousness of the first doll i guess with Az.
I generally say screw what other people think ^_^; ( <- walks around campus in a musketter hat and a black cape when it's raining, at a consertative college mind you)
*le sigh* Just being paraoid I guess. Also the paranoa of the customizing.

 

That is just a GREAT image. I used to walk around in an actual rain cloak when it was raining... course I live in LA so it's not as big a deal.

*smiles* You're allowed to be paranoid, just don't let it get to you too much. I'm still waiting for Clover's body to get here and there's a few other things I've been all nervous about so I know what you mean. I guess it just means that it'll be all the better when you get him. Realizing you don't have to worry about something any more is always a nice thing. Like turning in a term project that you spent months on, or having just finished a final. At that point it's done and you KNOW and it's so much better.

 

hehe this is kind of random, but the character my OFY is going to be, Latherian, has a little brother named Azrael who goes by Az XD It seems to be quite a popular name here!

Back on topic, the middle of January! I hope I can wait that long! Then again...I suppose it's only been a few weeks^^'

Ya, there are a few named Azrael ^_^; I really didn't notice them till after I named my boy. Story wise- he used to serve the god of death so bieng the "angel of death" worked all to well.

 

At angelsupply.com, they mentioned that a deposit was needed before the order would be confirmed. How much money did you have to put down? Was it a substantial amount, like 1/3 of the price of the doll, or something low, like $25-30? If this has already been answered elsewhere, please direct me to the right place and forgive my oversight! Thank you. ^__^

 

For the holiday price, I think it all had to be payed in full. I do not know what the lay-away plan would have been.

Does anyone know if you can get a snow/white cossette?

 

She seems to be on the list of heads available... And milky is one of the resin options. I'd email them and ask*nods* Though it seems like it should be possible.

I enjoy reading this thread. I plan on getting a OFY too one day. ^-^ But missed the holiday price as I didn't order at that time due to Christmas and all (and still waiting for another doll on order). Anyhow, they still take orders but for the higher price. I'd like to get a tan Cien (I gave him a name already). He is to be a friend of my TN Ren. I used that dl to make up his face and everything. His makeup I selected is about as dramamatic as my Amon's but a little different. I was making the lips a different shade and the eyeshadow not as deep of brown. Also the blush will be a different shade. But I won't be ordering him just yet but soon, another doll may come before him. ^-^ *counts pennies* I have this plan (that keeps on changing. ^^; ).

 

I found a wig I want very very badly but the auction is about to end. It says
dollfie 6/7 wig p21a pink for petite Ai ;Sharmin, DOD....so I'm wondering if anyone knows if a wig like this would fit an angelregion mini? Because most of the auctions by the seller say mini in the title for mini dolls so >< But they arent answering my question and with time almost up....I REALLY WANT THIS WIG! Can anyone help me?
