i LOVE the new body, of course it needs sueding, but the hands are the best feature, because of the magnets, from what i have seen online it looks much slimmer and way less boxy, and Hannibal stands like a rock! but over all i really like the new one... the sad thing is i never got to see the old one, but maybe one day... but before it gets sueded it the body can be very kicky
yep. Compairing the old body to new: Old one had seams, but in some places i could feel smoothness, (like the bottom of only one of Arcelle's feet xD) smooth posing, and the head would NEVER windmill (spin other way after i posed it once :S) unless i moved the head really suddenly. but the torso/waist fitting was werid, and not a lot of detail on the tummy... but the hands being non-magnetic meant the amazeing 'hanging doll' trick (i think i've spammed before with it x3) the New bodies (at least mine) still have seams, in about the same places xD; the head windmills occationally, but it's not that bad... but every time i move one of the joints IT SQUEAKS. freaks me out sometimes x3 "Arcelle wouldn't do that D:" also the new resin colors are different (see pic) Feet have less detail, but they stand GREAT, and pose wonderfully C: half of the magnets have come out though in the twins (Wings, Ears, even the headcap magnet detached, i swear it's a plot against me!) LIGHTING IN MY ROOM IS WIERD. and it's a trick of your eyes, ciel's leg is higher then infini's actually, part of the reason it's so much shorter looking, but the new bodies DO have longer calves. I love the tummy on the new bodies, but the old bodies i think had more time spent on the mold or whatever? But angelheim learned a lot from ver 1->2. the leg joints are less akwierd, the boy parts are smaller, and the entire body being skinnier makes clothes easier to put on ^_^
Thanks guys! The main reason I didn't buy a body with him was because I didn't like the lack of tummy-sculpting, but it looks like they worked on that. And thanks for the input on the slimness, I'll be ordering it in May, once I get my funds back up a bit ^^
I love magnets for convenience changing parts but they do tend to pop out. My KDF Bory's back plates are always coming detached from their magnets, so at least I'll have had lots of practice when my Raul arrives. The squeaking sounds a little awkward. Are they tightly strung or is it just the texture of the resin? I had a doll from DOD that squeaked a bit because the resin had a slightly shiny texture especially around the joints, but my other dolls are more matte with a little tooth and don't generally squeak.
Thanks so much for the photos Kezzy. Your 3 boys are so lovely!! Makes me want to get a Raul so badly. Their hoodies are adorable and I really like Arcelle's hair. It's such a pretty color.
I don't think my Raul squeaks when I move him at all, and he's got the new body. He also stands very well, but he's got huge, flat hooves to stand on. XD My only problem is that his hands keep falling off randomly. The magnets must not be too strong. But I can put up with that. Now I just need to learn to sued him so that he can sit right for once. That's why I asked for lessons at the summer meet up in Madison!

congrats vampiresmiley!!! i hope you can pay him off soon! i think this thread needs spam, werewolf spam >:3 i really need to give him a face up with his wolf features... not that i do not love the current face up he has by my cousin, cause i do, i just need to put his scars everywhere and give him bigger eyebrows... yes my Hannibal has bigger eyebrows and tons of scars... and his skin tail will be weird to get/make and apply though. and i hope they re release the claw hands! i need them for him!... ok done with my rant of things i have to do.

They had a blast. Got lots of pics today and most of them came out thanks to the sun. There were a few other poses I wanted to do but the wind was really strong and kept blowing them over XD

It will be nice to see another of the new boys. Actually I wish more people would buy AH dolls, they really are fantastic.
I got my Raul today! I haven't got time to put the box opening or anything up yet, but here's a quick bit of pic spam for this thread. It was so windy today that it took me a while to get him to stand up long enough to take a photo.

Haha, My raul will come in about a week. He's in Natural, with Skin + Parts blushing, and Company Faceup. ALSO - For you Raul owners Just because your having magnet troubles, mean all will have magnet troubles? How do you fix this? Do the joints squeak that badly? And if I brought the doll into public ( Like a mall) Would his joints just pop off and be lost?
