My boy's magnets will be the death of me OTL I was at a small convention last weekend, at my Artist Alley booth- I had to close down so I could be in the cosplay contest, so i sorta threw them all in their carrying case* and hauled my stuff to my room... somehow one of my Isac's ears came off in the rush OAO; I searched everywhere for it once I unloaded them in the room and realized it was missing... but I couldn't find it... Thankfully sunday morning the booth behind mine found it magnitized to their chair OTL I am never taking their fantasy parts to a con again, though the idea of loosing a hand scares me just as much... MAGNETS, Y U SO WEAK? ;_; *no facemasks, and usually i take time to position the pillows, but I just put them in gently, and made sure they weren't scratching each other ~_~;
I had a similar situation at a con last May. Except instead of being stuck to a chair, his ear had magnetized itself to his butt where the resin raccoon tail was supposed to be (he's been using a fur one for months). I went mad trying to find it and could't see it anywhere... until I went to change his clothes. Then me and my roommates for the convention had a good laugh. Glad you found his ear too Kezzy! I'm so glad I have the old body @_@ the hands would have me paranoid forever. It's bad enough I was always afraid for Ica's feet paws... though those magnets are really strong... I wonder if they changed their magnets... Ica's ears will stay on fairly well even through a nice thick fur wig so long as you part the fur a bit. Even the resin tail stuck on really well, and that magnet attracts and grabs any piece of metal that comes near it. I don't even have to pin the fur tail on... It sticks there because it's a keychain O_o
I have just realized that I have not taken a pic of my boy yet with the tail I made for him. I'll have to do it later when I get home from work. It's still a bit big but its cute. Now I need to make him some ears to replace the ones that vanished. Or I was looking at the ones DDE has but they look really big.
I'm having problems with magnets as well. His ears fall off easily when touched (though I have Dollmore ears too, and they're as weak). One magnet has detached from Slembir's head (luckily his headcap still stays) and his other paw feels really loose (fell off once with no touching at all...) If anyone has suggestions for better magnets, I'd love to hear, too!
I hear tell that the brand Rare Earth has the best magnets, but I've never used them, myself. I use the brand from Hobby Lobby and they work just great for me! I need to wait for my Raul's magnets in his head to fall out so I can use them for his horns, since the ones he came with are too weak to keep them in place when his head moves. At the moment, they can swing around and around. xD

I ordered my very first doll head last weekend on Angelheim X3 I payed immediately via paypal, but my orderstatus is still the same... do I have to worry about this fact? oo Anyways, maybe someone can answer my main question XD: Does anybody know how long it will take for Angelheim to produce the head? I couldn't find any notice about producingtime of something related like by Fairyland or Iplehouse. Thanks a lot
I just received my Angelheim Luka, but the certificate says thay he was created on 22 December. Does that mean I have the old body and he is already over a year old or is it a mistake?
Minaide- My Luka had a birth card that has the date Dec 22 1083 AAD. I think it is a birth card for the character, not the actual date the doll was made.
Fjanel My Luka needed 2 months (nearly 2 years ago) - just estimate between 2 - 3 months and you're fine
Kurogane Oh thank you, that does explain a lot. Thanks! Fjanel Mine arrived today and was ordered on 20 August 2011. That's about 16 weeks (4 months). But I ordered my sweety in the event time. Maybe that had caused the long wait for me and it will hopefully be shorter for you.. ^-^

In the Q&A section I could see a lot of people asking for the parts (claws, hooves, horns etc), so I don't want to ask too XD Do they restock their parts in general? oo
They were taken down while AH works on upgrading their dolls/products. It is also why everything else is mostly sold out as well. AH has said that they will probably be back up but they do not know when.

Yes, finding fantasy parts for LE15 doll is not an easy quest... It was easer to buy whole Raul instead! XD So they had their legs switched and now I have wolfy Raul (these paws don't look feline at all) and Isac who will be little bull I think ^^
I'd love to see Angelheim selling the hooves from Isaac (?) seperately - they look far more pretty than the standard Luka hooves IMHO. Minmay Your boys are gorgeous
