I am definitely thinking about getting Dina. I hope mint on card is doing the event though...

I used the company one, not their hotmail one. I have managed to get hold of them now via their site and they have said I can just send the money to their paypal so hopefully that has worked.

I have ordered her too! I think I got charged over $49 for shipping (which is what I have paid in total for other dolls before), I am not sure if that is 1/2 price or not. ^^; Hopefully I can get everything sorted soon. I do think Dina is so lovely though.

Does any one know what the wait times are like for AS at the moment? Normally they say somewhere on their site. I couldn't see anything.

 

For 1/3 doll it was a month. For Dina Lemon said that it will be 30-40 days. I hope that rather 30 than 40...)))

 

Is that totall days or working days?

 

karla-chan, total days. In China there is no Christmas holidays, so i hope...

 

Anyone who was planning on getting Dina from MoC (or any doll for that matter), they will not be participating in Angell-Studio's events this year So it will be cheaper for me to order directly from AS. I'll be placing an order Friday.

 

That really sucks! I wonder why not.

I'll probably just wait to get her later then, after seeing owner pictures. Money is a bit tight between just moving and the holidays.

 

She's not going to limited then? if that's so, that's wonderful news. I really want her, I just can't afford it right now due to starting up a business.

 

Oh that is wonderful news! I am pretty excited it should be early next year I get her and that not being working days! When they just count production days it can really add up!

 

I have a couple of questions:

1. Does any one know what wig size Dina is going to be? I can't see anything on their size as either measurements or stating what size the full set wig is? I want to get a wig sorted soon for her since I am going to get one made and will be on a wait list. Plus I do like to get wig caps for my dolls.

2. Also at a meet I went to I was talking about the new doll I had ordered and people said that the AS tan resin goes VERY green with time and when exposed to sunlight. I was wondering if any one had any pictures of this? I was told there was a general greening thread too, but I can't seem to find it. I heard that sometimes companies can fix the problem so the greening isn't as fast, does any one know of improvements made do AS resin to reduce the greening issues?

 

karla-chan, all of Angell-Studio's MSD-sized dolls wear a size 7-8. It also lists the wig size on the the fullset wig's page.

taecelle, I'm pretty certain it's working days and not "actual" days. Regardless of holidays, weekends typically do not count as work days in any country. You could ask AS to be sure.

 

karla-chan, their 1/4 wig size is 7-8". I don't know anything about tan resin, but theur solid resin yellow veeery slow - becouse of improvements in it. But i know about normal skin, can't say how it goes with tan.

Venetica, i just told about my 1/3 girl, that i bought in september. AS did her precisely in 30 total days. And when they say 30-40 days, thay mean total too.

 

I see I didn't look at the wig page, I was doing the logic of thinking they would either list it with the list of measurement or the wig on the drop down stating it's size. But thanks so much for the information, now I know what wig and wig cap I need.

I see, well I can hope if they have made improvements to the normal resin they have improved the tan resin too. It was just a friend of someone at the meet had an older AS and it turned green pretty quickly, but they bought the doll a while a ago. I was just a little shocked because I have seen the FL "beauty green" some of their WS dolls turned, it was just a small hint of green. I was kind of expecting tan resin to be the same, especailly since before pictures of tan dolls I have not seen them greening too much. However the tan green pictures I have seen where obviously green, like olive green.

I am really glad she is going to be a dryad, so the green isn't going to be the worse thing in the world, but finding pictures would be great to know what I can expect. I am happy that Dina comes with elf ears now because that was going to be the decider between her being a human or a dryad.

 

Looks like Dina is going on the back burner, because my money has already been spent on Sugarble Adela I think I'm more interested in her outfit anyway, to be honest...so what I'll probably do is just order that alone, since Dina herself isn't limited but her outfit is. I eventually want to get her at a later date.

 

I do think Dina's dress is very pretty!

I think she has a very cute face though and that is the part I personally fell for. But yes, she is not limited so at least that gives you more time to think and if you still like/want her then she will be still around. Plus owner pictures can often help too!

 

Hello! I'm new to the forum and I decided that I should pop by and say hello~ I own 2 girls, both from Angell Studio. One of them is a 1/4 Kid Vera and the other is a 1/6 Baby Momo (Halloween)!!
Anyway I see that everyone is talking about Dina?? Well I think her dress is absolutely gorgeous!!

 

Hi there and welcome! Maybe you could show off your Momo in the AS baby thread? It's really slow and it could use some pics, lol. Plus, I adore Momo, so I'd love to see what she looks like. Vera is super cute too and yup, that Dina outfit is gorgeous!
