Angell Studio KiD 1/4 Discussion Part 1

Lol, that's what happens when you fall in love! We have snow here too, so the drying time for MSC is awful and there aren't too many moments to do some spraying. Luckily my hubby is home during the day and offered to spray for me when weathe does permit it I agree about the 14 mm. My Leira wears 14 mm too, AS puts huge eyes in their dolls.

 

Normally I do have to save long and hard, I was kind of OK with timing on this one. They do come home eventually if I name them though!

I can't do face-up's are all a friend of mine is doing her for me and I am making her some clothes in exchange! However I live a little distance from her and if it snows to much I won't be able to go round! So I am hoping it will be OK and I will be able to go and see her. I also hope it is OK enough for the MSC.

For some reason Fairyland do the same with their dolls, but just their girls. They come with 16mm eyes when personally I think 14mm look better because 16mm leaves little white of the eye. I guess it might be more "cute" in their opinion! However I do have one doll who is 16mm and she has a 7-8 sized head. So when I was told that Dina took 16mm eyes and she had a 6-7 size head I thought that was most likely right. Especially since FL dolls have a much smaller head, they have 6-7.

My other Resinsoul dolls also have 6-7 wig size and 14mm eyes. So I didn't think it strange when I was told Dina's wig size too! It was only when I went to put some eyes in that I thought that 16mm was too big, especailly the eye wells in the back of the head are big.

 

She does look much lighter than I would have guessed with the tanned skin But she looks good Thanks I hope I can get her soon! The only thing making it take so long to save up is I want to get all the hand options Also I have absolutely NO idea what color eyes and wig I want for her... Not even any clothes I want to get her

 

It is a nice colour, I do kind of wish it was darker though since she is a Dryad so pretty much is a tree!

I see, if you want extra's it is probably worth saving up longer to get all the extras. I know what look I want for her because I have had the concept floating around in my head for a while and when I saw Dina I thought she would be good for that.

I am going to have green and black blushing for her face up, mostly green! I am also going to have a green dreadlock wig with black bits. I am going to go for dark Mori clothes wise for her, but probably dress her gothy and even cyber goth sometimes too!

 

That sounds so awesome!! Please post pictures of her progress as I would love to see how she turns out

 

Oh cool, I will try too! I probably will get excited about her progress and I probably would post that stuff on my tumblr any way, so it is not that much extra effort to post it on here too!

I am a bit sad that the wigs I have at home don't look good on her at all though. She is totally bald at the moment. I have a few "spare" wigs one is too small and the other too just make her look very weird.

 

Aww how sad That is my biggest problem right now is I have no idea what color/style wig I want to get her at all I am so afraid if I order a wig it will look bad on her and then I will have to keep trying Which I guess I could just sell the wigs that do not look good on her, but it is such a hassle I just wish I could sit down with a Dina and try on a whole bunch of wigs on her then I would know! But I will probably go with some sort of pale color as to highlight her soft pinks

 

I have limited wigs that is why. I have a white dreadlock wig and a white fur wig that are not sized well. I then I have bright red fur wig that looks terrible on her. I also have a ginger mohair wig that just looks odd on her. It makes her looks like a child more then anything. I wish you luck on finding a right wig for the your girl.

She will get there eventually, and I have got her sooner then I thought so that is a plus. It has also left me unprepared as a sown side. I am in the process of sorting her, it is just waiting for everything to get here, or to be made.

It kind of went very cyber goth! Considering she is going to green and black dreads and brighter green eyes. I am pretty excited about how she is going to turn out. This lighting doesn't do it justice though.

Thank you both so much! I am so excited about her too! She has her actual eyes now as well! I will be posting pictures ASAP! I have put a wig on her for now, it is not her wig and it doesn't even fully fit her, but it is better then her being bald!

I just haven't posted pictures yet because I lost my internet. I am actually in Starbucks I got that fed up! Although I might have actual home internet now!

 

Here is a better pictures of Mint my AS Dina. She also has her new eyes now too. These are the ones I am planning to keep for her. She still needs her wig, she is just borrowing one for now. It is a little too small for her though. She will have dreadlocks when she is done, just they will be green and black and styled differently.

 

Wow those green eyes are so perfect!! They highlight her face-up so beautifully So excited to see her with her real wig on I bet it will be absolutely stunning

Thanks so much, I bought them from Releaserain on E-bay. I am so excited too, I am hoping I only have a couple more weeks to wait for it. The wig will be worth the wait because the girl that does them, does make amazing wigs. I have got 2 other wigs from her in the past.

I still need to make her some clothes though, especailly since I am not going to be able to buy her any in the foreseeable future.

 

Yeah especially with the style you are describing it is quite difficult to find in female MSD size. I know I have looked Good luck in that area; I have absolutely no idea how to sew, you are so lucky

 

I have seen some stuff that would be really good for her like green fishnet socks, a fishnet top and I have also seen some cool jumpers. Also I would like some high black boots for her. However buying the doll has taken up a lot of my free money, so I am going to have to wait.

I took lessons because I really wanted to learn how to sew for my dolls. I am so happy I did because before that I really had no idea what I was doing.

 

Oh yeah I have found some of those before, I completely forgot Yeah I know that feeling of having no money for clothing I have a new girl coming in and I was hopefully going to save up for my next girl, but I realize I want to get new shoes and stuff for the new girl coming in... and also the next girl will not come with any clothing at all which means I need to save up even more I need a second job

I also want to learn how to sew for my dolls I got a sewing machine for Christmas even But I have no room to put it and nobody to teach me
