I am so happy! I have finally been able to pay my Dina!!!!!

 

Oh that is awesome. I do want to see Dina's about because she is so pretty!

 

A request for anyone with a factory face up Dina! Would someone be willing to snap a few pictures of Dina in blonde or brown wigs? I just can't decided which color would look best on her. My Dina is still on layaway, but I've already bought everything but the wig. She's going to be a fairy princess, and I snagged her some pretty nice wings

She looks lovely, taecelle, and I do agree she looks better in the red Might just get a black or brown wig for her instead, light colors seem to not let her beautiful face up pop out as much. I just can't wait for mine to come! She'll be my first bjd if my YoYo doesn't come home first

PuffyPuffers, thank you. Now we (Becca and me) are waiting for a dark-blond (same color like on her older sister) from Little Monica and grey wig from AS. And i'm thinking about a black wig and a wine wig. May be they will also suit her).

 

To you all with a Dina, how long did you have to wait until she was home?
I am horrible at waiting... want her now...

 

Mine came really quick, like a month or something. However I ordered her completely blank.

 

I ordered her with face-up, but without outfit. It took them a month to complete her.

 

I have ordered her blank. They says it will take 60 days and that was for 5 days ago. I I go after what they says she will come in mid may.
But when do you all think she can some home to me?


I am longing myself to death after her...

 

If the company have quoted you a time that is probably right. They tend to know how much stuff they have on at the time and waiting times can change. I would prepare for the 60 day wait that they have said, but be happy if it is sooner. I have had my Dina for a little while now, I ordered her only days after she was released and got her quick, so the turn over time could have changed in that time.

I just bought a blue and purple wig very similar to that one for my Dina! It's good to know that it will look great on her!

 

This is probably the quietest discussion thread I am on! Do only a small number of people own AS dolls, or do you think they are less active on here then some other doll owners?

I think it's that fewer people own one, maybe? I for one have four AS dolls and I think they're awesome, but you don't see that many of them around. The 1/6 AS thread is a lot quieter than this one. I do have to admit that even though I follow this thread and comment on what you guys show off, I haven't taken a pic of my Leira in ages and I'm kinda lazy about it. Might be that I have too many dolls now to divide my attention among them equally, or just that I have so little time in general or both...

I see, I know the WITHdoll one is a little quiet, but that seems steady the comments just slower then others. However they are a new company. This one though I have noticed that people do go a long time without saying anything at all. I would love to see pictures of your AS dolls. I can understand trying to vary attention between dolls. I have 8 (although soon to be 7) dolls and I always feel like it is hard to cycle round which dolls I take pictures of.

I do really like the body that my Dina is on I think she poses really well.

 

I'm in a few other quiet ones and there I think it's just that there aren't that many people that follow the thread, I'm not sure how that is here. I do feel like I need to take some more pics of all of my dolls, but sadly I don't have a camera at the moment and my phone will only take me so far. I have to agree though, the bodies pose really well. My Leira is on the single jointed body, which is really quite OK, especially since I've had her for two years now with no need to restring her. But my other AS dolls are on the double jointed one and I like it a lot, the arms in particular have lots more options to touch their faces and such.

It is a very cute picture. I don't think I will get bored of older spam since I am new to the thread.

I am not sure what the older body is like since I just have the new one, but to take the picture of Mint holding the mask to her face, I did have to get her hands very close to her face. I do admit I did need the other hand to hold it so high but she stayed like that no problem. I carried her to a different part of the house like that because I decided I didn't like the first background I was using.

I have also notised they stand very well!
