I just got a Dina yesterday and I adore her! I have a lot of work to put into her, but I'm up to the challenge to turn her into my character Elandril. Here she is as she looks now. She'll be more of a dark elf, so she's getting a white wig and red eyes. The wig I already ordered and will be cutting to make it the style I want it to be for her. She'll also have a lot of scars in her face. No sweet and innocent here!
So... I NEED another AS girl (used to own Amy)... I liked Amy but she's such a sweet serene looking girl (plus she has an open mouth with teeth which I hate on dolls) and for the character I'm making, the doll needs to be a sarcastic bad ass looking girl. I was looking at Aaron and thinking he could be made into a girl... AS put a boy head on a girl YOSD body for me so I'm wondering if they'd do that for Aaron... I'm going to play in photo shop to see if I can "paint" him to look how I want... but after seeing this picture on Google, I'm thinking he could easily become a girl: http://static.diary.ru/userdir/8/7/5/8/875825/79919418.jpg (not my photo, just found it on a search). Not sure if the doll pictured is a boy but he looks like he could be face upped to look like a girl... I just remember that body and man that resin... AS needs to make some more mature realistic looking MSDs.
I always thought Aaron would make a pretty girl actually!! My doll plabs changed but I too wanted an Aaron girl once ^^
Yay, I'm not crazy lol. Thought his head looked a bit too masculine blank but I'm sure with eye lashes, wig, etc he'd look like an awesome girl. Definitely looking at him and Thea. Not sure which I'll get. Going to get translucent pink though for sure. I'm so excited. I'll be a while before I can buy it though.
So... I am a long time admirer of AS dolls, but recently I fell in love with Cygnus... I am surprised she's received so little attention. Does anyone else like her or better yet has anyone ordered her? I love both the sleeping and open eyed versions, I think her chubbier face is amazing. I want to order her but I was hoping to see owner pics first but I can't even find any mention of someone ordering her...
Affinite, I haven't seen any pics on DoA, but check the Angell-Studio Flickr. They have a lot of photos of their dolls restyled including some photos from Chinese collectors. I'm pretty sure I saw photos of Cygnus there although I'm not 100% sure.
Hello! I thought I would share this pic of my Nisshou (Zhi Yu LE2010-her friend Tristin is seated nearby). My doll club recently visited a Japanese Tea House in MI. I know her costume isn't Japanese but it sure is pretty [emoji76] I bought her as a full set and she was my 2nd BJD [emoji308]
