Angell Studio KiD 1/4 Discussion Part 1

My god, this is the most beautiful MSD I've ever seen! The detail is extrodinary... the resin is so smooth and nicely heavy. How doesn't more people know about this company!?

Do they not come with eyes? She didn't. Luckily I bought some, just have to get putty.

 

She's lovely already! And yes, I too love AS for their heavy, smooth resin. :-D I hope to see pictures of your Amy with eyes and a faceup soon!

 

I may redo her face up. I want to get better lines for her eyebrows and lashes so I probably will... but keep the same theme.

maybe I put the wrong name on the thread - does anyone have experience with this size doll from Angell Studio? In particular, Amy - or any of the kid size dolls and their quality. I've purchased the Tiramisu and she is gorgeous - beautiful resin, but it's not easy to get a response from the company. thanks for any help you can give.

Hey, another Dutch Leira ^^. I love her tights/legging (?) and her bed!!

My Naomi (Amy) got a new face up from a very talented artist. It's vvveerrrryyyy beautiful and even more so in person... but it's not quite what I want for the character so I'll probably redo it. Here's a crappy picture of her (we're moving so things have been hectic)

The leggings are TTYA, so is the hoodie (for NL: you can also get them through TriskelFantasy) .....,. They were a Christmas present from my best friend.
The bed is the excellent Ikea Duktig doll bed (only 13 euro's!) and I made the duvet, bedspread and pillows myself (YAY! first successful sewing project)
And the boots are Nine9Style. They come in beige too and they are available in SD/MSD/YOSD. I actually have a YOSD pair too for my incoming Ante.

I'm sorry, I don't know, I haven't tried a Luts wig on her yet. I have tried a blond curly Dollzone wig in size 7/8 though that didn't fit.

 

This is getting ever more interesting! As far as I was aware only Leeke was troublesome.

 

Are luts wigs pretty much the same size as Leeke wigs? If you know, that is n_n Thank you for answering all my questions

The blonde curly Dollzone wig kinda fits on my Leira, but the model looks weird on her, it's obviously meant for a smaller head. I should take a picture.

Well, it seems to kind of fit from the front, but from the side you can see that it doesn't go all the way down like it should:

 

Pity, it's a pretty wig. It's a 7-8? How weird.

I'm going to redo my Naomi's (Amy scupt) face up tonight. I want her super colorful and the face up artist didn't capture what I wanted.

 

Yes, it's a 7-8. I don't know, perhaps it's my wig-putting-on-skills..? Haha! I have another Dollzone wig that DOES fit her.

 

It floats above her ears just like my Leeke wig does on my Leira, so I don't think it's your skills Thanks for sharing this though!
