1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Another person using photos for self-advertizement credit free

May 1, 2014

    1. Some of mine on there too. I am not clear on what it is she is using the photos for. If for commercial purposes, such as advertising, I want them taken down. If she is "just" blogging, I have now reached the point at which I can stand my photos being shared without permission, providing they are clearly credited and linked (which these obviously aren't). So, she can keep them up, providing she credits and links.

So, if anyone manages to get through to her, that is the message.

Like Saaya-chan, I am getting so sick of this that I almost can't be bothered to do anything about these thefts any more. However, I suppose we have to keep plugging on and letting the entitled know which rights they have ridden roughshod over.

    2. The nerve of some people ... haven't they seen what happens when you piss this community off? :? we're such a (comparatively) small group of hobbyists that virtually everyone seems to be able to contact virtually everyone else all over the world, how can people still think they can get away with this - especially taking from people whose dolls and photos are rather well-known? Mind = boggled. *_*

    3. She even posts complete box-openings from other people!
I found this one from Sarqq:
      http://vk.com/wall-28899863_16106

I'm currently going through the group, I'm pretty sure I'll find something from me there too -_-

    4. My photo has been not removed after my askin' about it. I'm banned on this group now, and can't to do anything for protect me from this thief.
      [IMG]stella by DeadlessDoll, on Flickr
Now this woman posted in her group, that if we posted our photo anywhere in Web, we can't speak about authors' rights, and must to be silent, when anyone like her take our photoes. But, at first, my flickr is closed for downloading pics, at second - I'm not against reposting my photoes with puttin' links for my page.

    5. I just scrolled nearly a year back on her timeline...she posts a lot!@_@
I gladly didn't find anything I made, but I think it's crazy how much she steals.

Also I don't get the attitude of "If people don't want their stuff stolen they shouldn't post it".
Do they even realize that if they keep on behaving like that that someday people really might not post their photos anymore? Which means no pretty dolls and pictures to look at? No seamstresses sharing their work, no face-up artists etc.?
Is this really something they want?
      I highly doubt that.
Some people are just disgusting :(

    6. This girl - a fraud. In our community it is cheating newcomers making a premium price and non-existent option.

    7. Now I'm talkin' in vk.com with moderator Maria Mironova. She has just said, that she will not read this tread. That she' doesn't care that people don't like when there photoes are stolen. And if anyone wants his photo to be removed, he must write to her in vk.com And she doesn't care, that many of you do not have account on vk.com.

    8. Excuse me?! Someone seems to have missed a lesson or two on copyright laws ...

    9. Really "cute"! Both Falconieri and Maria Mironova are definitely aware of this thread. Their last post definitely says so!
I see it as an insult. I'm sure if you try PMing Maria, she'll pretend she doesn't know English!

    10. Ardyse Maria said, that have not registration there. So, now she has deleted my photo and my friend's Doria's photo. And said, that she didn't know about closing for share my photoes from Flickr... 'cause she usually used PrintScreen for savin' photoes.

    11. Well, even if Maria has no account here on DoA, Julia does! I think they've discussed the situation and posted that message. Otherwise, why does it say to MP Maria if you want to delete the photos? Beisdes, PrintScreen, hey! They seem to have mastered that!

    12. Man that really sucks. I don't really see why people don't just put the photographer's name in the photo description. It's not that hard and it would save the world a lot of grief. I really feel for all y'all that had your pics taken. Hopefully it'll get remedied soon.

    13. Julietts, does that mean she pretends to be a dealer for Iplehouse and asks for a lot of extra money from newcomer buyers to buy them Iplehouse dolls?
      That's really rude :(

I also see that they posted recasts too, not surprised about that.
I'm really shocked about their attitude, especially because when you take a screenshot from a photo you automatically also remove all EXIF data, something you can sometimes identify pictures with.

    14. I also wanted to ask Looloo if she could confirm one fact.
I remember Julia mentioning you and her are friends. Is it true? if that's the case, then Julia's action start too seem ever worse 'cause she's stealing from a friend! And in one of the earlier posts it was said that these pictures were also taken without permission.

    15. Had a friend copy and rip off and connect one of my stories to hers once, I swear that it was worse then getting blackmailed because it was my real life best friend. First time someone was able to instantaneously bring me to tears, I felt horrified and I didn't forgive her for awhile. She never did it again but a friend doing something like stealing your work, pretending to be you on the computer (same friend tried to answer one of my PM's being a jerk to the person I had been talking to, I literally had to wrestle her away from my computer) or ripping you off can hurt a lot. If this is the case I would've broken off the friendship. I made it clear when my friend did that to remove it and to never do such a thing again and that I expected better from my friend.

    16. Ardyse Depends on what she considers being friends. She just bought my EID Akando (in dec 2012) - we talked via Flickr, and then we chatted a few times about my dolls, she was nice, always saying she was a fan of my dolls and face ups etc. She even told me about "a girl" on her Russian forum that sent my picture of my SID Claude to IpleHouse to copy my face up on her recently purchased Claude asking what I thought about that, obviously I said I didnt agree! Now someone said here that girl was herself... LOL I prefer not to think she used my photos to sell her "mediation" services and probably sent pics to Iple to get my works copied for her "customers". I hope she didnt. But, we've never been real friends, just contacts, and obviously no one ever asked me permission to use my photos. I'm very disappointed.

    17. Looloo
Thank you! It is what I thought it is.

    18. Ara*
yep =/ There is a problem transaction with her on russian bjdclub.ru

Looloo, if I remember correctly, it WAS Falconiery who asked Iple to copy one of your face ups. This topic was largely discussed within our Russian bjd community. Julia mentioned being friends with you during this discussion, again if I remember correctly.

    19. God!!! This makes me so angry and sad :( I dont get why people willingli do this to others.
Has someone made and atemt to ban her on Doa yet?

    20. The mods are aware of the issue. I guess they're discussing what to do. (They're people with day jobs from all over the world, mind, so it may take a while.)
