Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. hey, it just occurred to me, I think by loadstones they mean the magnets! They must have had some problem with the magnets, and it sounds like maybe a couple heads got held at customs and sent back, and now they're trying to resolve the problem and send them out again. I'm pretty certain they're not recasting anything, or they would have said so more clearly and advised for a longer wait.

      I never got a tracking number either, but I suppose that's just as well. I hope they get sent out soon though, i'm anxious to see my heads! though it turned out to be fine that they didn't show up in time for Uncanny, as I was only able to stop by for 20mins due to other matters. Just as well, in fact. :s

    2. Aha, I bet you're right--you don't think a customs person lost their minds because there were magnets in the packages? It sounds like they're going to try to ship from another location, but that would be slightly insane...of course that's also typical of shipping companies. :| Interesting, but still only abstractly for me, as I have no shipping notice. ;)

    3. How strange. Did that happen before to them (getting heads sent back from customs)? I'm not in a rush since it'll be a while until I can afford his body.

    4. Good news, they emailed me a new tracking number for my head and with outfits and it looks good.
      So I am sure all our heads are on the way again :)

    7. I got my number today. Wonder why it took a couple extra days...? Oh well, glad they're coming my way at last. Not that I've got any bodies lined up yet. But at least I can paint them! :)

    9. okay, those of you with tracking numbers, how are they working? are you getting updates?

      Tracking mine, it looks like the parcel was posted on the 29th with the others. then the next and last info was that the box went through a sort facility in China, on Sept 1, and no new info since then. It's a little early to worry, I suppose, it's just that I live on the west coast of the US and usually EMS packages from Asia take only 4-5 days to get to me, even from China. So I wanted to check in you to see if they're all moving a little slowly. ^^;

    11. No, and I wouldn't expect it to. My packages from China always take longer as they have to exit through Chinese customs, so I typically don't even see an update for the first week/have stopped worrying about it. This is true for EBay items, Tata's packages, etc, outbound customs takes at least a week in my experience when discussing China as they are easily just as paranoid about anything leaving the country as they are about 'contraband' getting in.

    13. I got my tracking number on the 31st and the last update to tracking was on September 4th. It could come any time, but I would guess that it will be here next week sometime.

    14. Mine is out for delivery X333 And lucky me, I have some Dollshe fresh skin resin to compare him with.

      Edit: He arrived and matches PERFECTLY my Granadoll NS. I'm so getting him a Nuevo body.

    15. It's been a week for me, and mine just entered customs in California today, which is the first update I've had...I am anticipating he will get through and be here Monday-Tuesday. Typically give it at least a week when shipping out of China, it's nerve-wracking the first few times but you do get used to it--not everyone's quite as Win at shipping as Korea, LOLOL! :)

    16. Yay, Carmen! Congrats on your arrival. do you have any pictures yet? Have you got a sense of what scale the head is? I've been sort of thinking of thed Spiritdoll Proud or the Popodoll 68... do you think it'll need a slimmer or wider build?

      Like I said, I've had lots of packages come in from all over asia in my many years in the hobby and Many from China and Hong Kong, nearly always EMS takes 4-6 days to reach me here in the PNW. The only odd experiences I had were a very fast volks package that took *2* days (I was shocked) and a package from Singapore that took 9 months (!). So I was getting a little worried about the lack of updates, since it's not the norm in my experience.

      but thankfully it's been updated, went into SF customs yesterday morning!

    20. Very nice head mold I think! can't wait to get my head. Does remind me of Volks Anais a little - just as I thought she did. But more character going on. What body is she on there? Do you find the head on the small side? Wondering how she looks on a volks body...
