Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. That's great news! Though maybe best not to fully bank on them sending him out this week, as AprilStory hasn't got the best track record for delivering on what they hope to do. (Think you can still also see that in a post in the waiting room during my own time waiting for a Dasom. That's why I normally don't even ask companies about estimates on shipping.;)) Hope I'm wrong this time, though!

      Oh, and yours is going to be a boy too? Mine is going to be even happier now when I tell him! (*Note to self: got to finally settle on a name for this kid!:lol:)

    3. That's kind of why I didn't say anything! I don't really expect he will ship this week. I usually don't ask either, but I thought a gentle inquiry was in order this time.

      I am feeling boy, but dolls have been known to correct me when they arrive!

    9. Such great news, the dolls in the Baby line are re-released! :danceBUT... can be ordered between the 14th -18th of July only? Oh no, especially with parts of their site, including the Q/A section, not available to me because of the present Flash Player security issue.:eek: (Edit: Even if I can get the funds together in time, I'd still like to try and combine the order with the one I'm already waiting for. Just placing a normal order doesn't involve any Flash Player elements, luckily!)

      I adore my Dasom and that awesome little body it has, and hadn't expected to get another chance of getting a Dasom Dreaming too. With just 4 days of it being available again, I'm really afraid I'm going to miss out on this extra opportunity now.

    11. :lol: Same here when I read the news about the re-release.
      How is your little one? You never posted again after the shipping notice, so I always wondered what happened, and if you're as happy with your boy (or girl after all?) as I am.:)

      As for my earlier frustration: the Adobe Flash Player security threat seams to have been resolved, at least Firefox has now let me access the ASdoll Q/A so I could ask about combined shipping plus try to work out something with the order I already have on layaway (New Adrian).:dance

      It looks like my plan may have worked:wiggle: I specifically put my earlier order on layaway to lengthen the period before he would ship as long as possible, with the huge hope that they would (re-)release dolls in the smaller sizes in the meantime! So, both Adrian and Dasom Dreaming might still make their way here after all, thanks to these second chances. Really excited, hope to hear back from ASdoll soon so I can place my order!

    12. A long layaway was a very sneaky plan! I'm glad it worked out! Dasom did arrive finally and is adorable! Real life has prevented me from taking many pictures but with the rerelease I'm feeling I really need to get some very soon!

    13. Oh, I'd love to see some when you get around to taking them!

      I managed to sort out the finances in time and place my order for Dasom Dreaming.:dance
      I'm really happy my sneaky layaway plan worked out so well. This was the first time ever for using layaway, though, and it's not something I like much I've found out (and expected), as it makes me feel jumpy, out of control in some way up until I've paid the final bit. But in this case I think all that uneasyness is worth it.

      Did you end up ordering another baby in the end, too? (And I just noticed they're still available on the site.)

      Would love to see some more little ones come join us here in a little bit. (And it would save me from double-posting as well;).)

    14. I noticed they are still up! I could have slipped the charge to the next billing period! I ordered a white skin Dasom. I will get some pictures of Dasom as some as he comes out of hiding! I think I tucked him safely in another doll's box when I was straightening thinks for the housekeeper. I'm sure his host is taking good care of him. I just can't remember who he's with!

    15. Really excited by AprilStory's release of more Baby-line bjd's! Really love the look that body, esp. the hands and feet which are so reallistically sculpted. Hands down my favorite YOSD size body.
      So... it looks like Lucy and Sunny will have to come live here to give my Dasoms (open eyed and dreaming version) some playmates!:wiggle

      I'll be interested to find out if the've tweaked the one thing about the body that can be a little bothering when posing it.
      The "stomach joint" of the bodies I have tend to want to slip out of the hip joint. I wired my 1st body, and that helps.

      Would be wonderful too if this thread became a little more active as more people discover these little ones. Their nice sculpting certainly deserves a lot more attention than the Baby-line has received so far.
      Perhaps AprilStory's present give-away event as well as their really affordable price will help a little towards that. Seems like a pretty smart plan to help this line take off! :thumbup

    19. Me too, the smaller dolls have never been discounted before. Which is also why just getting only one now doesn't make much sense in more ways than one, as shipping for 2 is only slightly more expensive than with just one. And with these prices, shipping seems the really expensive part! :lol:

    20. Did it: just placed my order for Lucy and Sunny! Took a bit longer than I'd intended, and also decided on a layaway plan with a final payment for next month.

      This, so I can also get the tool I'd like to replace soon, because my Proxxon mini table saw 'died' right in the middle of working on several diorama's and pieces of furniture for my bjd's, and now I want to upgrade to the slightly more powerful (FET) version that can hopefully keep up better with all I'm trying to get done.

      Here's an older picture of my Dasom in the 1st larger roombox I started work on, a year or so ago.
      As you can see, he's pretty outnumbered by all those bigger kids, and it would be nice to have some more friends his own size, besides the dog;).
      Suppose the little ones will be needing their own playroom now...:lol:
