1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Are you a doll perfectionist?

Mar 11, 2010

    1. hmmm i think i have to have things right on a doll to adore them the right wig even if its messy the right eyes the right outfit i know dirt and scratches happen even dents and scrapes as i have owned dolls previously owned.

but my perfection is just creating the right doll for me one i settel on a wig out eyes someone touches it or messes it up lol sad to say i will get upset

    2. My doll's little imperfections are what make me love her so much. The fact that her nose is a little crooked, one eye is a slightly (very little difference, but still) different shape, little things like that. I feel like it makes her unique, that she's just mine. No other doll is going to look just like her, even if they get the same wig and clothes and stuff. I could never look at her and think "if I could, I would fix that" because I feel like it doesn't need fixing

    3. I am regretfully absolutely obsessed with keeping my dolls in absolutely perfect condition.
This in my opinion is a shame as it stops me from enjoying my dolls as much as I would like to as I am so worried I am going to damage them.

    4. I'm a perfectionist in my dolls ...more so than anything else...cause I do have control....they are mine...and no one elses...if there is a problem..I'm fix`n it fast!!!!!

    5. Only in my mind.

    6. I'm with the minority and certainly not a perfectionist. ^_^; My dolls sit around the apartment all day (though I do tend to keep Sage out of any direct, strong light...I don't want the tan baby to turn green!) The only thing I'm even really picky about is protecting the faceups that I love and paid good money for.

    7. Yes, somewhat... in every sense, not just dolls... but I inspect them regularly so make sure nothing's wrong. During my inspections, I noticed there was a random curly strand of hair on my doll's head, and that his left eyelash was kind of loose... ??! I spent forever just trying to clean out my doll's head because the eye putty was a mess and it was gross >_>
      So yes. XD
