OMG Xanth dolly! SO MUCH LOVE Aren is soooooooo cute! I got an Uyoo before she came out (or when she'd just come out, I forget) and I kind of wish I'd gotten Aren instead. She's got such a sweet little face! I agree, it's very movie-star-ish. (BTW, Blythe shoes fit Mini Gems wonderfully... particularly all the great handmade ones, like Ixtee boots!)
My husband LOVES him some Xanth. I needed cool names and Xanth sure has them! I also have Imbri and soon Ryver. So, yeah, now you need to get an Aren! You can stay and play though!
Who was it, many posts back, who said it's amazing what the camera picks up that you don't see? SO TRUE. My Punky Nyangi Aren, Nyssia actually has a bit of glitter sheen on her lips. When I did real closeups, I kept seeing something reflecting inside her mouth, on her "tongue". It took a magnifying glass to locate it's a couple of "crystals" of some iridescent something. Dunno. Until I get around to dabbing a touch of matte coating on them, I just remove them digitally if I find them -- Just added her to the various databases the other day, now that she's in her "final form": .

Hi everyone! Glad to see this forum as I now have an Aren to match my Uyoo!! Since they are similar in size, I thought they'd make great sisters or cousins or just a good set of best friends!! Anyhow, piccies up soon - but I'm enjoying pictures of all your Arens! She's definitely a cutie and her first day home, she snagged th is lace pinky sheath dress out of our 'closet', but no shoes yet. Oh, she needs a wig or two as well, but so does my incoming Puki Rose! Anyhow...love to see these truly little gals!...

Whoa! I'm so excited to find this thread! I didn't realise there were so many Aren lovers. Looks like a lot of you like the same Aren I did, the You Must Love Me one. She has the best face-up I've seen on any of the mature tinies. And she looks great in anything. I've never even removed her original wig as it adds to her ethereal appearance. Mostly she wears high end Barbie stuff (I buy the collector Barbies or the Barbie Millicent Roberts) & strip them for the better made clothing. Most of her shoes are Joe Tai Tiny Kitty ones. She does wear some Tiny Kitty & Coquette clothes but those are short on her, not a problem with dresses or skirts but the pants always end up as capris. I also have the tan Uyoo & Souldolls' Kimmy & Metel. The girls all share but poor Kimmy only has a couple of outfits. He's so slender that about the only things that will fit him are vintage or Silkstone Ken. The great thing is that he can wear Ken shoes though so at least he's well shod. I always take Aren with me when I do a program on BJDs since she's such a perfect representative of her size. I'd love to get a tan one but my only unbroken rule is "no more than one of any sculpt" & I adore YMLM too much to ever replace her.
This is just a wonderful thread--I love seeing all these RL photos posted together. You all have such beautiful dolls (and wonderful photos). I never noticed how gorgeous Aren's mouth is. I just love it! OK--that's it. Aren is officially moving up to the next place on my priority list. I'm officially going through my doll collection tomorrow, to see who is next for sale, as well! (I can hear them quivering with fear!)
