Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. Thank you both so much. I found pics of everything, even the harps, posted on AE's site. Just scroll alllllllll the way down on each doll and you will see the different items near the bottom. First listed as a group then as a type (ei fins with fins, harps with harps, etc) ^_^ They are all so incredible looking.

    5. Post #7 has been updated with some additional information, (9/27/2011).

      We asked AE that, they said that they are thinking of making 1/4 dolls, it depends on how quickly the 1/3 dolls sell out. I personally hope that they do make 1/4 mermaids because I would really like one. :D

      We update the site a few days ago with pictures and sale date; the dolls are now available for pre-order.

    7. The dolls are limited to 20 each period. It doesn't matter if it's a standard pre-order, layaway pre-order, or in-stock, they all count towards the 20 available.

    8. Hi Lindsey Kay:

      I'll post my question here since I think others may be interested in the answer too. On the AE website it says that the mermaid parts are cast in white and painted (except for the light pink option), whereas on MOC it says they are cast in the colour of our choice. Could you please clarify whether the mermaid parts are actually cast in blue/pink/orange etc?

    9. The mermaid parts are cast in the color that you choose, (Dark Blue, Aqua Blue, Pink, Dark Pink, or Golden Orange), and then additionally painted in that color as well. They are not cast in white and then painted. AE told us this directly via live chat. We looked at the AE website again and did not see it say anywhere that the mermaid parts are cast in white.

      Please keep in mind that what AE is offering to the Chinese market is not exactly the same as what is being offered to the international market. As far as we know, AE does have an option for the mermaid parts to be cast in white skin and then painted for the Chinese market, but this is not what we were told for the US/International market.

    10. Can we get more photos of the range of motion on the mermaid tails? All of the photos that show the tails clearly show all the dolls posing in the exact same positions, which doesn't give us a very good idea of how well the jointing works.

      I have to say,these mermaid dolls are wonderful!
      But at the same time,I am so curious about their mermaid tail
      since the jointed parts look some way like Peapod Doll's mermaid tail.

      Our artist is sooo happy to see another type jointed tail and wonder how they made such a success on the tail posing.
      By the way ,I remembered that Peapod's mermaid doll was ever not approved on topic because we didn't put pictures of the doll's leg parts.
      Hope this situation will never happen on these beautiful mermaid dolls.:)

    12. There is a picture of Crystal on our site that shows her tail completely bent at the 'knees', with her tail fin behind her butt. AE also provided a picture of Cordelia with her tail flexed forward. AE is going to take more pictures of the tails, but currently they are away on holiday for National Day. We should have additional photos early next week.

      We will also get photos of the limited head sculpts on their human bodies. We'll get a photo of Cordelia next to one of the other girls, (Cordelia's body is slightly different from the other limited girls). Again this will not be until early next week because AE is out of town.

      Asleep Eidolon has been working on these dolls for over a year, if anyone would like to see clay sculpts as well we're sure that AE would be happy to share them. :)

    13. I would love to see more photo shots, especially the production ones! If possible, can we see the mermaids with color swapped tails too? Since most people here have ordered a different color tail to the original from what I can tell. It'd be nice to see! Send them a big thank you for their hard work on these sculpts :aheartbea
