Yep. These eyes just saved me. I have got 2 pairs of glass brown eyes from Leeke and they are desperately big for her. I can't see the white part at all. But I'll try to get some other eyes for her. Acrylic eyes look... hm... maybe cheap? I don't know. I like the gloss and shining and weight of glass eyes.
AmoreMio, Your Aure is so pretty! She looks cute in all of the wigs but the short blonde one really makes her look so adorable! It also makes me want one of my own. I think Aure is at the top of my list now. I checked out your box opening too; thank you for the blank head photos. She is such a pretty sculpt!

I'm not quite sure 'bout the name... Maybe Amy or Annie. "Annie" is a first name I thought of when I applied a first layer of blush on her little head and saw how delicate and shy her face is. I'm so sorry to say that now but she seemed to be so much more simple-minded and... gosh it's hard to find an English word for that... uncomplicated, maybe? But she's not that kind of girl, oh noo.
Both those names seem to fit her, AmoreMio, she definitely has a sweet look about her! It is funny how sometimes names will come to me right away and other times my dolls just don't seem to want to tell me!

littlegreycoconut I don't know any doll which is comparable with FL in posing. If you wish I can make some photos of Annie so you can judge yourself. Just tell me what poses you want me to show you or give me some pictures of your FL girls in this poses so that I can refer to them. About quality. Annie is my first bjd doll and I was ready for dreadful seams and chipped thin parts (our Russian Post is known for its peculiar attitude to their customers' valuables) but I can't see any seams on her body AT ALL and she went through her long journey without neither chips nor damage. Her default hands are not as graceful as "glamor" hands I ordered with her. If you want I can take some comparison photos. I've chosen her not only for her lovely face which I fell in love with at first glance, but for her body proportions, too. AE body proportions remind me of mine (except for the leg lenght, of course) while Minifee's body is too perfect for me not to get jealous (it sounds weird... but....) And it's easier for me to love someone who looks like me than someone who reminds me of my flaws/imperfections. p.s. I'm waiting for YoSD by Xaga-doll (which is AE's... mmm... what's the world for this? collaborator?) and I think of Littlefee body for her. But the serious skintone mismatch makes me hesitate. On the other hand, Littlefee's are at least popular and I can meet someone to compare resin irl easily (to figure out what will it take to blush the head to match). And other movable and posable tiny bodies' skins are are not so easy to find and compare. But I know that in theory AE's NS resin is simimlar to XAGA's so if it turns out to be true than I will have many comparison photos on flickr.
AmoreMio: Thankyou so much that's so kind of you! It's good to know that AE seems to have good quality. I know what you mean about choosing a doll who has some slight imperfections. I also feel more comfortable with dolls who are a bit more real. Unfortunately I don't have a FL Minifee. I'm just interested in how well AE dolls can hold a position, and if you have any problems posing her. So any basic poses like sitting, kneeling, walking, standing on one leg would be very helpful. I guess because I've only ever had tiny Fairyland dolls (and by tiny I mean Pukipuki Realpuki size) I'm nervous about... 1. Ordering a larger doll and... 2. Ordering from a company other than Fairyland because when I've never seen an AE doll in person. But whatever I do I just can't seem to get Aure out of my mind. Maybe I'm meant to order her. Congrats on your new Xaga!!! Littlefees are amazing posers but, yes, you'd probably have to blush her head pretty heavily to match. FL resin seems to be slightly darker and peachier than or Xaga from the little I've seen. Good luck deciding though. I hope you find a good match. Again many thanks dear. Congratulations jenniekay! Your Lemon is very pretty! That combination of hair and eyes is perfect for her! Blueberry is on my list also, along with Lemon, Aure, and Coral. They are all so cute but slightly different; it makes me want to "collect them all" even though I know I realistically can't.
Hello, I'm new here, nice to meet you all! Does anyone have Blueberry blank head photo? I'm in difficult phase deciding which girl I want to choose, Blueberry or Aure. I found a clear blank Aure head photo thanks to AmoreMio but no luck with Blueberry. The only difference I notice is Aure have fuller lips and their eye shape have a little difference? Someone who have both head should be able to know better, but everyone opinion is very helpful
I'm quite leaning to Aure (mainly because beautiful photo like yours, Coco ), I think I love her head shape more than Blueberry but the only thing that prevent me from choosing her is fuller, plumper lips. It's actually beautiful but for a more mature look, I will need a small one like Blueberry. Is there anyway for me to mod lips shape? Or maybe I should wait for new AE girls?
Twinage: Aww, thanks, I'm glad you like my girl. I can't recommend Aure enough, she has such a sweet gentle look. Yes, you could mod her lips yourself. Hi everyone, I just want to check something: 7 years ago, I bought an MSD sized Yara, and I heard that MSD Yara was discontinued because there's a problem with the mold. Is she still discontinued? Or did they re-do her? I know they have SD sized Yara, but do they have MSD Yara now? Because I'm thinking of selling her and wonder what price range she should be.
