I traded one of my dolls for an Asleep Eidolon Aure and I am very excited for her arrival. I'd love to see pictures of the sculpt... or any other sculpt as well as what clothing have you found that fits???
Congrats on your new doll! It is quiet in here, yes! I don't know all that much about AE either, but I do know that they change the body designs more frequently than many companies. If she has a hook on her headcap, then she's probably quite old! Hmm. I just checked my girl's certificate, and she's listed as being made in July 2012. Or is that bought? Gosh, I can't even remember how long I've had her! Anyway, she's much more modern, probably still the newest 1/4 body or close to? She has a headcap with no magnets which twists into place on her head, and he s-hook goes in her neck like normal (thank goodness). AE 42cm Girl Body Here's the current body on MoC. The pictures don't do it justice, but as far as I can tell it's the same body my girl has. Again, I'm no expert on AE, but I know that their earlier bodies were much slimmer, whereas the new one is much curvier than most msds. It would probably help if you posted a picture of her, then maybe someone with an older AE doll could help you guesstimate when she's from!
Wow!!! My doll came yesterday and I must say I love her posing. Its an Aure sculpt and I am in love with her. I ordered an outfit through alice collections and can't wait to show you all. My computer for some reason is having trouble with Flickr and when I go to copy the link it doesn't work.
She's so cute, congrats! Hmm. Again, I'm just not that familiar with the days of this style of headcap. It's possible it's just from very early 2012, but I'm not sure? The single-jointed knees must be an older design than the body mine has, though... Do you have a picture of her naked? It would help to see the whole body, since AE's msds have had big aesthetic changes over the years. Now With Minifee! Aha! I knew I'd seen something with the old body. They're not properly labelled, just listed left to right in the description, but here you can see the old body and the new body. The picture was taken in 2010...

So I just stumbled across AE sculpts today and I am absolutely in love with Mini Snow. I'm so sad there aren't any pictures of her off the site though. And are AE waiting times really as terribly long as I'm hearing?
last time i order from ae it took 8 months for me to get my dolls. (but it was totally worth it!) i went thru moc.

So I've got a dolly project that might be pretty far down the pipeline but AE Jiao jr. Fits the character perfectly. With MOC no longer allowing preorder for AE where are people ordering them from?
As far as I know, MOC is the only North American dealer for AE. Your best bet is to either wait for an MOC preorder to happen (it will eventually), keep checking for in stock dolls, or try to find a second hand one. You could try to order directly from the company, but their English website is not very user friendly.
I think that this may be a place to buy them, but I don't really know where it is. I just remembered another user here buying one of their AE mermaids there.
I'm so happy you're enjoying her. And thanks for liking Snow White. I haven`t taken her out in months so maybe it`s time to take new pics.
