1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Being yourself, being popular, loving dolls

    1. BJDs, just as diverse as they are, can mean things a world apart for different people. I get weirded out sometimes by how into their characters my dollie friends get, but I can still hang out and everything. But it does get weird.

And hey! I'm not the only one who's going to be using this hobby as a litmus test for dates!

    2. Ironically enough... the school paper just came out today with a story on me and my dolls in it XD

I got to a liberal arts university and obviously I don't hide my dolls, I did at first, but now I just don't care. Pretty much everyone knows me as the girl with those huge dolls.
I'll mention my dolls if it makes sense too, like if we're discussing hobbies or art or w/e.
I'm in a photography class and a few of my projects have been doll related (would be more if i wasn't trying to use this class as a way of expanding my photography options) I've had a few people make fun of it, a few people get creeped out, but for the numbers of those there are just as many that like it.

I just take things as they go.
The news article on me happened because one of my really good friends operates the site for the school paper, and she suggested me when they were wanting to do stories on "interesting students" XD

8D now EVERYONE (who opened the student paper to the Arts section) knows me and my hobby.
