1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Best. Eyes. Ever!

Jan 18, 2014

    1. Your girls are darling! :aheartbea Does Dollflower have an English site?

In fact, it would be great if people would link some of their favorites. I've had a bit of trouble locating a couple of the manufacturers that have been listed. :sweat

    2. Enchanted Doll is my go to for eyes, I just know I will like the colour, the depth, how it photographs, and how they look in my doll, plus they come in so many gorgeous colours! I'd like to say my dolls have one default pair(that would surely justify the expense)but uh...too many beautiful colours, too little dolls xDD Especially my older dolls have several pairs, to match with their favorite wigs and outfits..

*edit* I don't take a lot of pictures of my dolls, so this one is kind of old, but it shows off my Chiwoo's eyes pretty well :) As for links, I usually buy them on the Marketplace or on conventions, but here is a link: Enchanted Doll eyes

    3. At this moment, Dollflower only sells to Korea only. There is a person who does take Dollflower group orders. She's been doing it for years. They release their eyes in batches, 12mm, 14mm and 20mm then 16mm, 18mm. This past July was the 12mm, 14mm, 20mm order and there is no estimated time of when they will be delivered yet. Production used to take 4-5 months but the last one almost took a year. Here is the link to the group order: http://order.bjd.in/dollflower/

    4. There are some glorious intensely-coloured eyes in this thread, and some excellent links to explore.

Which makers do you recommend for realistic eyes? If you wanted eyes that might pass for real in photos, where would look first?

    5. I absolutely love Vings eyes. I had a friend owned a couple of pairs and they were definitely the best pair of eyes I've seen in person. I've heard really good things about Dollflower and ED eyes and they look great in photos but I'm yet to see a pair in person. I'm hoping to order some Vings eyes with my next Taobao pre-order though!

    6. Candy Kitten's eyes are amazing. I have so many, they have such depth.

pretty much stick with these two sellers, consistent and always good.

    7. i love safrin doll brand eyes. 10 bucks USD a pair, you can mix and match colours in a pair.
sadly, my dolls with their eyes are mostly OT so i don't have a ton of pics i can share.

    8. I am a huge urethane fan girl. Love the variety of colours available and the cool options available, like sparkles. My favourites in order are: Mystic, Enchanted Doll and Vings. I've got a couple pairs of Mako eyes on order but don't have them in hand yet so I can't say much about them other than that I've heard good things!

Here's a couple of pictures of some of my favourite eyes <3

Mystic Eyes in Limited #4. Worth every stinking penny, they're so amazingly detailed and gorgeous. Major downside? Waiting 9-10 months for the them through the last pre-order XD

My current favourite pair of ED Eyes, Milky #61. They shimmer and glow and have so many variations in colour <3

Pair of Vings eyes I've since sold, but I loved the texture and sparkle of them! They just ended up not being the right colour for the doll I'd wanted them for.

And a comparison picture of Mystics (green 18mm) vs Enchanted Doll Eyes (blue 16mm)...

    9. karrigankat - Thanks especially for that comparison picture. It really helps get a feel for the differences between the types of eyes.

    10. steampunk eyes

    11. Oh wow, thanks for coming back and posting that, yamalskaya. I can see why you like them so much - they are so detailed, and even more amazing in a doll! Your girl looks absolutely fantastic. :D

    12. I love very ethereal eyes, there was a goddess doll I saw and her eye were basically the universe

    13. I'm a CandyKitten fangirl all the way. Her eyes are gorgeous, don't fade, and she's such a pleasure to do business with

    14. I've just recently started getting into urethane eyes and I love the Mako eyes I've got. Two of my boys in Mako eyes:

I've also got a pair of Enchanted Eyes waiting for their owner to come home, and they're really lovely too with a lot of depth.

I have a lot of glass eyes. These from Pluto Doll are very pretty. Luts has some interesting glass eyes, like these in my Ringdoll Raymond:

I have quite a few pairs of Zoukeimura eyes as well - just the basic ones that Volks sells now, and ones that came with my Volks LEs. I think the quality is pretty good for the price.

    15. I'm a huge fan of CandyKitten's eyes, too! She makes fantasy eyes in a variety of designs and vibrant colors, I believe she also accepts custom orders. And they are surprisingly inexpensive for their quality.

    16. The antique rose eyes are really pretty, I have a pair of Soom Silicone and there great. Mystic eyes in 18mm are beautiful.

    17. I have always had a fascination with BJD eyes...all the sizes, different materials, glitters, shimmer, no pupils...the possibilities are endless! What do you personally prefer in the "perfect" pair of eyes?

Soft urethane are my favorite. They fit in every head, have that beautiful shine, and have such gorgeous depth.

    18. I've always been a fan of glass eyes. You can buy a bunch from Alice's collections and experiment. This list is fascinating though.

    19. I'm currently saving for a pair of Oscar Eyes and a pair of Dolcebella eyes. I haven't seen them in person yet, but from what I can tell they are absolutely stunning.

    20. Souldoll! I love their normal eyes and they have tons of fantasy/seasonal stuff. I'm sad I missed out on their Halloween selection. But either way they have a bunch of different ones and all look amazing. Of course they are expensive but not ridiculous.
