felizzzzzzz and ArtOlli, Both are great pictures of lovely girls! I need to get a picture of my Chuu. I am so far behind on pictures!
I have a few questions, if no one minds. Considering hybriding a Chuu head with a Littlefee body, or perhaps a Momocolor body depending which resin match is best. How well does the Chuu heads resin match Fairyland and/or Momocolor? Also, how easy would it be to hybrid it with either of the bodies? And last question..does anyone know what the normal price for a Chuu head is? I know just about nothing about Bimong.. Edit: Forgot to ask, what wig and eyesize does Chuu take? =) Can I get some pictures of different eye sizes?
The resin match would depend on when and by what company the head was made. A full doll would be safer for a resin match. The Chuu body is cute!
The Chuu body is absolutely adorable, but(if I've seen the correct body, that is) it's too short for my taste. 30-35cm is my favorite. I've tried to find a matching body for some time now and it turned out to be a challenge..
The Littlefee body won't get you in that range. The taller Momocolor body is close at 29 cm. There are old CustomHouse Little Jr bodies. Iplehouse KID might work. BlueFairy Shiny Fairy Jr body is another option.
Yeah I know that, but LTF was my last way out since that head is my dream! The only thing that's worrying me is the resin match. I badly want the Shiny Fairy Jr body, but as I've heard, it doesn't match either. At least not the pinker tone that Chuu could come in. So what I'm after is the older more yellow tone she came in?

I did! To be honest I was a little disappointed when I received her. I have a Volks Yo-SD, and the quality between the two is pretty huge. My Volks feels heavier and significantly smoother, while my brown Chuu had to be sanded down because she was soooo rough I also got the faceup option because it was so lovely in the pics, but I was again disappointed because it did not look the same Her eyelashes have a rubbery feel to them Overall, I do recommend adopting her if that is what you're planning on doing I would not choose the makeup option, though Unless you don't have an artist to commission. I just don't feel it's worth the extra $60 when you can use those funds for another artist. On a last note, I do plan on purchasing another brown Chuu and making her a boy (twins!) The turn around time to receive her was pretty quick in comparison to other companies I think over a month?...Please let me know if there is anything more you would like to know!
I also got a tan Chuu and I was delighted! I got the makeup number 1 and I think it is lovely. I also like the slight texture of the resin. Mine arrived in about three weeks.
For those of you with the rereleased Chuu in NS, how well does the resin match Fairyland, Volks, DIM, etc? Comparisons would be lovely if anyone has the time.
