1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

BJD Cafes in Korea, did you know they existed?

Apr 3, 2015

    1. That's too cool, I had no idea they existed! I'd want to go to one if I visited Korea :).

    2. I knew about the Bluefairy Cafe but not the Nine9 Style one. I really want to visit one some day!

    3. Too cool! My fiancé and I are thinking of going to Korea for our honeymoon. I'd love to visit one if we can.

    4. Oh wow, I've never heard of this but it sounds like an amazing concept! It must feel like a doll meet every day in there~

    5. That is amazing, I would love to go to one!

    6. [ Please disregard double post. I am unsure how delete. ; x ; ]

    7. I didn't know but it wasn't a surprise. There are so many cool things there after all :daisy

    8. BJD cafes look amazing! I wish I could go to one if I ever visit Korea. Sounds like the place to be though; a nice, quiet spot to drink your coffee in peace and also enjoy beautiful dolls and even shop for them!

    9. I knew the BlueFairy Cafe from their website. It is so amazing!!
It is so nice that Korea's BJD Cafe can take picture all around to let us know more about them.
I do want to bring my BF Lunar to visit their > //<

    10. Yes I saw a video about it :) can you actually shop there? It looked like the dolls were mostly for display. I would still go for sure.

    11. I would so love to go to such a place. Sadly I live in the middle of nowhere.

    12. That is so cool! I would jump at the opportunity of taking my doll to one of those. I didn't even know they existed! They remind me of cat cafés in Japan, only different. Maybe one day, I'll get to visit one  (of either)

    13. It's so cool that these exist! I wish there were more themed cafes in America.

    14. I would love to go! Both Cafe's looked so cute and endearing. I would be one of the first people to show up and buy tea or coffee. Now if they could make a cafe's near California..... :D

    15. Yes! I was tempted to go to Korea just to go to one. I would go more than I should if they had some in Arizona. :3

    16. I have heard of BJD cafes! That's such a brilliant idea -- I would totally go to one! I wish we had some in the U.S.

    17. That was how I first entered the world of BJDs actually. ^^ My friend started getting into the hobby and invited me to join her at one of the doll cafes (yes, in Korea) and that was where I fell in love with them.

    18. That's awesome! I wish I'd get an opportunity to visit a cafe like that. It would be perfect to have something to drink or eat and shop for some nice dolly stuff at the same time. It'd be great for meeting new people too! I'd love to go to conventions and such to meet other doll collectors, but I'm not a fan of big crowds...

    19. Wow~ Those places are so cool! I wish I could visit there someday :)
