Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     16. Neutral Feedback:
      I had bought a Pixydoll Sevy head from blackpaperbag recently. She was great with communication and answered all my questions, and quoted me 3 different shipping options.

      However- when she went to mail him she ran into a problem (not able to insure the head) and sent him via a more expensive method without asking me and then asked me for extra. (I had agreed to pay the full amount she wanted for the head, the maximum amount of the shipping quote, and money for a box.) When I declined she replied with a passive aggressive comment that I didn't particularly appreciate.

      When he arrived, I saw that she had overvalued him on the insurance form. I'm in Canada, so I had to pay more in Customs because of this.

      All in all, I received the head and I'm very happy that she sold him to me (when she didn't have to- I'd saw him on a list of Trades she had up) but I would have preferred that she asked my opinion on the shipping and not have overvalued the head.

I asked nicely for the extra amount, because I honestly believed that should would not want to ship him uninsured (my fault for assuming from the tone of her previous PMs), and she seemed really keen to have him in her possession, so I thought I'd be nice and send it then instead of making her wait.

      When she refused to pay the remaining amount I mentioned my dismay at having spent extra money of my own, and apologized for it nonetheless, as it was ultimately my mistake. While some of my unhappiness at having just lost $30 for no reason might have come through, as much as I tried for it not to, I said she was well within her rights to decline and tried to be as pleasant as possible in concluding the transaction (this could have been construed as passive aggressiveness to her, to me, I was just trying to end on a good note). She didn't reply to my last PM.

      With regards to the overvalue, she never mentioned that to me before leaving this feedback, and I don't know how she came to that conclusion as I wrote down exactly the amount that she paid (Note to Kokoryta: the value is written in the AUS $ equivalent not US $ by the way, as that's what the post office required, that's the only thing I could think of that you might misunderstood)

      Never once did I even get a small thanks after I had said it was okay that she decided not to pay the extra amount, even though she had effectively ended up with faster and fully insured shipping for the amount she had paid (which would have given her slower shipping with no insurance).

      Overall, Kokoryta did not do anything wrong technically, she was a good buyer and did all that was necessary. She paid her agreed amount promptly and answered PMs, but - in my opinion I have dealt with nicer and more understanding people in this hobby so far. It was a geniune well-intended misjudgement on my part, and I felt that she isn't the most pleasant person to interact with when things don't go entirely smoothly, this is not the first time I have had a transaction with her (I bought a coat and she was rather curt about my slightly delayed payment, even though I apologized), and it has just supported my earlier notion.

    18. It was in Australian dollars, though Canada Post charged me at that value.
      (Though you may want to look into seeing if Aus post has a guaranteed delivery time. The Aus post website quoted as taking 2-5days for Canada, though it took 7.)
