I miss my pocket fairy, I wish I did not sell mine last year

 

Finally, after buying other dolls instead of this one, I managed to bring her home!

Clodagh got to have an international meetup on the weekend as the lovely Last_bus_home was visiting New Zealand with her handsome Remmy boy. Alexisbears was there too and brought along Didi. So from left to right: Remmy, Minimay and Didi. Gah, I knew from photos that pocket fairy boys were cute, but now I totally want one! I think Clodagh may have to find a NS brother later in the year.

I got Yoko head from my friend.
I used old Minimay body to her, so body is yellow than her...
I hope BF sell white skin body only.
Today I changed her eyes to glass eyes. So cute, HAPPY

 

Actually, my Yoko seems to like her blonde hair much better than her brunette!



I don't remember where I got the shoes pictured here, but I recently discovered some super cute Strawberry Shortcake shoes that fit her perfectly. I had to snip a little slit down the back of each shoe (so I could get them on and off!) but they are the best fit out of any other shoes I've tried on her.

Ch@ssycat She looks softer and younger in the blonde wig. Are those the Bandai strawberry shortcake shoes? I had some for my pukis and they're awfully cute aren't they?

 

Yes, they're the Bandai Strawberry Shortcake shoes. I love them! I snap them up whenever I see them, so I have a few little Strawberry Shortcake dolls kicking around now... I have some brown ones and a pair of pink mary janes with strawberries on the buckle. So cute!

I wonder if anyone know if Luts Tiny Delf real skin white or normal fit with pocketfairies? I have three small ones who want to grow up .But two are older ,MiniMay is more yellow and Yoko more pink, and don't match the new sugar body I have and Jimmy is beauty white.
Thank you for all the eye candy in this thread ,it made me choose this size instead of the juniors .

Oh my... see, this is why I should never go looking through DoA on a quiet Friday night at home -- I always find another dolly to want! Agh! The Sugar/Peppers are awesome! 20cm is my kryptonite....
So many sculpts to choose from -- how did you all decide?? I'd love to see some spam, especially of Yoko, Jimmy and Minimay.

I really want to get a NS and BS Remmy, I just love that mold, wish Bluefairy would accommodate me with the BS versions

and while I'm in wish mode I'll take a BS Jimmy and Yoko as well

 

I have a slightly blurred pictures of my whole gang ;

Taro pepper ,Yoko a little bit pinker than the rest ,MiniMay sugar ,Orange Jimmy beauty white and MiniMay who is slightly more yellow skinned .
I would like to have pepper bodies for both MiniMay and Jimmy ,I put MinMays head on Taros body and it is kind of ok .But I wonder if Luts normal or white skin would fit with the bluefairy white or normal?

midolls*melissa -- wow, what crew you have! I love their bibs and hats. So many awesome faces, it doesn't make it easier to choose but I do enjoy seeing them all together like that. Sometimes it's hard to see the subtle differences when you have to click back and forth between company pics, lol!
Baked seems quite limited -- is there a certain time they come out or is something even more rare? It appears to be a lovely shade of resin.

...the baked skin Pocketfairy were limited edition sold at doll shows and are therefore hard to come. I keep hoping BF will do baked event for Pocketfairy, I've asked them on their international sites q&a board and they said they don't have any current plans for them.

 

Thanks for the info! I figured it was something like that as I often see them with a mention of a certain event. Too bad they aren't more readily available and that BF doesn't have plans for more. I see they are listed as vendors for Dollism Plus 2014, let's cross our fingers they decide the US market is ripe for more baked Pocketfairies at that time.

I came so very close to ordering a Yoko last night -- she was in the cart and I'd gone as far as checkout to see payment options and shipping costs -- but I thought I should wait until I'd researched shoes first. I have a few others in this size (Persons, Mui, Pixxie) so likely have something already that will fit. They seem to have very tiny feet!

 

Beatrice I know the luts NS is an almost perfect match for the normal lati skin from 2012/13. That means it's quite pale - I had a TD for a short while and it's definitely a very light NS with a slightly pink undertone. icicle Yay, you definitely need a PF sugar. Quite the most under-rated bjds there are in my mind! You will definitely have shoes that will fit. I'm not at home for an exact comparison, but their feet are a scooch bigger than person feet from what I recall (a teensy bit broader). Most of the shoes that look good on Drusilla look good on PF - that more slim fitting kind of shoe. I'm trying to recall if they fit into Dru's gotall shoes and suspect they don't. I agonised for ages before I chose Mitten (Kitty) - the differences are so subtle between some of the sculpts.

Ha! I should have known you'd know, honeythorpe! I figured somedolly around here would be similar sized.
Too bad if the gotalls don't fit, I do love them. I did notice a flickr pic with a PF in Blythe/Azone engineer boots too. I've got a pair for my Bambola Daisy so I'm really interested to see if they will fit... Oh, and I have a Pixxie dress (black Lizzy) that I was wondering about... I can't (but just barely) do the snap on my Person so I'm thinking that it will be too narrow for a PF, yes? I remember Pixxies tend toward pear shaped with very narrow shoulders but PFs appear to be slightly hourglass.

Is Kitty wearing a Ballerina BF wig? Do you like it? I'm tempted to get a brown one -- I never can do dolly hair and I've always wanted twisted braids.

Welp, it's futile... just who, not if... Clodagh is helping me see past the makeup. She has the lovely mature girl look that I like so well with those awesome Sugar legs. You are lucky to have a gorgeous girl in that pretty baked color resin. I think you chose very well for all three.
